I really miss this mod, once you try it you can't live without it.

I'd be okay if we could use the props without functionality for now. I really miss some of them badly in my 1.5 run.

This would be a sweet mod if one could fully toggle it off like other planning mods. And if the overhead is negligible, people might be more inclined to leave it on with customised opacity.

Miss this mod so much

Without this mod, my 1.5 colonists get lost in their own colony because the kitchen and barracks do not display proper signage. Without humorous warning signs they are incapable of avoiding simple hazards and stand around under landing shuttle craft. Please, sir. My pawns need you.

@Dark Do you anticipate compatibility mods such as my one for Bill Door's Simple Signs to break?

I've looked into updating this for RimWorld 1.5, and I plan to do so, but it's going to take a bit more work than just recompiling it. There are also some things that I really want to do better (like performance improvements), so I probably won't be uploading a version for 1.5 until that is done.

Depending on how significant the changes are, I may even choose to retire this mod and instead make a "Signs 2" mod that works in a less janky way behind-the-scenes.

I seem to be getting freezes from this mod, do you have any insight on what could be the case?

Amazing mod! Makes so much more sense to chronicle my colony inside the game rather than keeping a document outside of it. All my graves now tell that person's tragic story so that I'll never forget them

Update again: the null handling issue might be on this mods end after all.

I've tested this mod with multiplayer and it DOES function but setting the text isn't transmitted to other players. I don't think it causes any desyncs though, if you want to let players know.

nevermind my last comment, apparently i was wrong about this mod needing null handling.

Please add null handling <3 (error and more info in the discussions)

Really quality mod. I like making notes about significant events and this is perfect. Also this lets me replace More Planning which has some conflicts.

I have definitely considered putting out a "Comments and no Signs" version, I may do that next week when I'm less busy so people don't have to download all the textures for the signs if they don't want them.

@High Rads You can use RIMMSQol to remove them and further customize the UI.
