Will we be seeing the miner and mining outpost shown on the third pic (the one with the sandy ground) on the workshop?
I've started putting together a carrier sled for this vehicle to allow it to carry a module ('stick') of 3 large grid blocks mounted on an advanced rotor part and hub. I sometimes power my outposts by shuttling sticks of 2 large batteries between my base and the outpost.
This carrier sled would allow the truck (and a forklift) to establish an outpost by carrying a stick containing a battery, large grid projector and merge block to a pad also equipped with a merge block and mounting it. The other rack could mount a cargo module with the components to build the outpost.
For an example of a carrier truck for such sticks, look at Smokki's Mestra
Right now we don't have any plans to publish a standalone version of this VC because of some difficulties with vehicle integrations (for example, this version was created only for truck with merges). We want to finalize the OPC faction-exclusive design for now and after that we will be able to make a similar interface for public use.
It does not mean that I say "Definitely No" but rather "Not Yet", so stay tuned, I will post news about it with one of the next models.
I second the motion for a standalone version of the script.
I am gonna use it for the new industrial cargo container, now... modifying that will be hard
