Nvm the rng gods were playing a joke on me that doesn't work 100% just saw it work a couple of times. Now I dev my pawns into novice titles with 0 honor. Not like I'm cheating with honor it's just a novice title.

I think they feel satisfied with there being a meditation spot available but by not being assigned to the meditation spot they instead redirect themselves to the throne they are assigned to.

I think that's the Royalty DLC in general. To get my pawns to sit on their meditation throne the trick I always do is place a meditation spot (found in misc of the building menu) in front of their throne without assigning them or anyone to the spot but assigning them always to the throne. For some reason they walk toward the meditation spot but then slip onto the meditation throne. It just works.

For some reason in 1.5 when using the Stellic Meditation Throne from VFE Empire, the pawn just stands in front of the throne not meditating

Will this mod be getting a proper update soon, as my pawns no longer use the thrones anymore to meditate. I am roleplaying an Emperor for my colony and using a royal chair with a meditation spot in front of it, really doesn't have the same feel as the grand meditation throne.

I don't know what I did but my pawn don't use the Throne assigned for meditation, he go meditate to a wall. I surprised him ONE time on the Throne meditating, but the next day he turn back at a wall xD.
I have a lot of mods (psycast expanded, meditation freedom, some tweak mods? etc) but I put Thrones for all at the bottom of the list. Some mods are incompatible with this I need to know to correct that?

@Ollie-Raven Yeah, it's a bit finicky with it - whether you start the speech from the Pawn or the Throne makes a difference, and they still won't sit on it. I have been meaning to come back to this, but other projects have been taking priority.

I hope you get the speech thing fully sorted soon, it makes no sense to me that my king can't give speeches seated on his throne lol

The speech option is finicky, and you can't give the Royalty speech with it. You should be able to get the speech from the leader's menu and have the throne be a focus spot for it, but some issues are still persisting. I may look back into it later.

Is it possible to use this method to make all seating assignable? Like for rituals and hall layouts.

@these people, Hi i was looking for a mod like this so thank you. Leader Speech issue still persists though. My leader won't give speech on his throne, the speech button in throne ui is also missing. When i demolish all tables and ritual spots then it says there is no available spots for giving a speech. So my game doesn't recognize thrones as speech spots. But being able to use thrones for meditation without titles is more important for me so thanks again.

OK, a couple hours hacking at it and I think I got it working with both thrones and ritual spots. If you start the speech from the leader they'll prioritize an assigned throne and deliver a thronespeech. If you select a non-throne spot (ritual spot, altar) they'll deliver a normal LeaderSpeech, as intended. Keep me updated if there are still issues though!

May have spoken too soon - I managed to replicate it again by building, assigning, then destroying a throne. I'm currently reverting this to the boring version where they don't sit on the throne.

Small update that should resolve failing the speech from a Ritual Spot. Sadly it removes the leader sitting on the throne while speaking. Hopefully I'll figure out how to make those work together nicely, since getting the leader to deliver the speech from the throne in the first place was tough.

@//SlipperyPete:. could be this mod or interaction with another mod - I'll see if I can replicate that. Couple questions that might help me debug: Did your leader have a throne assigned or not? And did you start the ritual from the leader or from the Ritual Spot? And finally, in case it's because of an interaction with another mod, do you have any other mods that alter thrones or Leader Speeches?

dunno if it's this mod, this mod interacting with another mod, or something else entirely, but around the time I installed this, Ritual Spots won't work for leader speeches anymore, cancels it after a sec or two and gives a message about it being cancelled before 50% complete due to not enough space (although there appears to be ample space in my ritual room)
