ah, the beta glazers. L4D beta was interesting to see, but I don't believe it would have received more positive reviews than the retail L4D. "oh, but Krychur! beta is more realistic!" so? 2007 and 2008 were not years where we saw hyperrealistic first person shooters today. "the level designs and art style were a bit flashier!" this is also true, but that's the thing: it was very flashy. it needed more complex gameplay, which Valve gave. sure, I like the way Left 4 Dead looked, but I'm not saying Valve ruined the game. anyway, I like this sound effect. iirc, it was from the Series 6000 Extension 1. a Famas I believe?

The only thing that the beta did better was the reloading animatons for the weapons. One of the things that I didn't liked about the OG L4D1 was the oversimplified reloading animations, outside of the reloading animations for the shotguns, which at least they have 2 different animations.

mr.unoriginal there is some other sounds like all of the pistol gunother in 48hz stereo, but imma keep them to myself for now :ujel:

The poor sound quality of the beta footage always made me think it was just a CSS sound (the SG550 and the Famas both sounding pretty close)
