I fixed the crashes. it's the stupid room mods. I really am starting to hate the room mods at this rate that changes the layout because i thought at first Magic Chalk turned out to be the room layout mods. Thanks anyway.

I think the game started crashing around i installed Flash Mom sounds and D18. But if i have to list them all here then we would be here all day.

@ChrisPvz I'll check it out tomorrow. In the meantime, can you tell me if you are using any other mods? It might be an interaction between Magic Chalk and another mod. Knowing which mod to test it with would help me figure it out faster if it is because of an interaction with another mod.

So i was running with this mod a while now and this mod all the sudden started crashing over and over again.

I agree with the other comments. Not having the soul stones makes the items incomplete considering that they are classified as runes. Maybe you can drop the spawn rate for the item by half or make it a secret room item to compensate? Idk it feels like this mod is missing that feature.

Just add the Soul Stones and make this item a Secret Room pool item

@St. Gibonus I have them unlocked, they just kinda get added to the rune pool, and are treated identically for when and where they drop as regular runes (i.e. Rune Bag, wood chest, Blank Rune, etc.)

Apollyon's costume is kinda broken when turning to the left and right, his horns don't appear.

@Standing Cirno Fumo I didn't want to include Soul stones because I felt limiting the buff to a specific subset of pickups (the runes) was a good way to balance the item. It would be neat to have the soul stones have their own buff item, but I don't plan on making that item. Disclaimer: I have none of them unlocked, so I've no idea how their spawn rate interfere with runes.

so are there plans to expand the buffs to Soul Stones as well (since they are counted as runes for the purpose of rune bag and Clear Rune)? If so are suggestions welcome?

@Blind, the Bound Demon The wiki says do both the same amount of damage. But you are right. Having more spiders makes it so that the damage is more distributed across rooms. When I made it I thought spiders made twice as much damage as flies, which is very wrong. I'm thinking it should do 7 spiders 7 flies. Maybe 8 since the base rune didn't get buffed with the spider nerf from repentance.

suggestion for buffed berkano: make it give 10 spiders and 5 flies, since spiders are weaker than flies and spider giving items give more of them tham fly giving ones, so it wouls fit morr
