Because all of the capes have no icons etc. and beyond that bug out any trade window (if the would-be item is on screen) that has them and any attempts to view info on the capes.
Specifically because it cannot find the Things/Pawn/Humanlike/Apparel/Cape/Cape graphic. I do not have royalty so my theory would have been that it is trying to access a graphic that is not present->issues obviously, however royalty is not listed as a prerequisite. Is this mod intended to work without royalty or not?
Playing on 1.3 currently, so nothing related to incompatibility with the new version.
Using Fluffy's Mod Manager I made a local copy of the mod, went into RimWorld\Mods\__LocalCopy_Cosmetic Armor Capes_-29-5\1.3\Defs, created a folder called ApparelLayerDefs, and then moved the ApparelLayerDefs.xml into the new folder.
This mod seems to fix the issue with the capes appearing on the bottom layer. I dont think it works with mod armor since I tested it with the mecha armor mod
Now My Question is can you combine all these Capes into 1 Cape called Power Armor Over Cape, Aswell as adding a Jarl Cape from VFE Vikings?
My Star Knight Turned Emperor of Man Kind needs a coat.
When I equip a cape my pawn drops their shield, (vanilla expanded vikings) I assume this is because they both exist on the "on top layer" and cover the same body parts, left and right arms. I believe if you'd make the capes not cover the arms then both could be warn at the same time and my hopes for my pawns to look bad-ass while being safe in melee can be achieved.
Also automatic orbital strikes like mac said :P
First of all, you don't talk for everyone. Where's this "everyone who downloads it for what they want it to do" at? I don't see this giant group of people.
Second, you got no right to demand something from a modder. With that I mean don't go "Do this, Fix That" on them. That will only make it so they DON'T do stuff because of your entitled attitude. And that attitude is what not only screws people like you, but others that Also want something but keep their mouth shut like wise people, who then won't get it either because you messed it up for everyone. Modders do what they do for free, in their own spare time.
If you want the capes to be able to be used for Ideology, I suggest making your own mod.
If not, let me give you the knowledge of Suggesting something next time instead of Demanding.
Change of tone can go a long way.
Barons: "THIS MOD IS POINTLESS UNLESS IT DOES WHAT I WANT! TAKE IT DOWN!"
God bless the entitlement of people.
