This mod may need some more TLC than I gave it when I picked it up from the original author. Specifically preventing drop pods from breaking thick roofs IIRC

I will checkout the repository and try to fix it for 1.4. But no promises. @Kiame Vivacity i will let you know if i was successful and we can reupload this well done mode again.

For anyone wondering why there GUI isn't loading and you cant do anything like moving the screen around it is this mod. I was having issues and removed this mod and the game suddenly worked. Hope someone takes up this mod and supports it in there own way.

Expanded roofing makes it that trees are dug out instead of cut. Is this intended behavior? Could an option to toggle it added?

i just looked at the mod settings for the first time in a long time; disregard my comment below

solar generators make 1700W from 16 tiles or 106.25W/T. solar roofs are either 200W/T or 625W/T, depending on what you're counting; the roof tiles create the potential, but the 4 tile controller is the actual power source. either way though, this is vastly more powerful than solar generators. i think something more on the order of 80-100W/T would be vanilla balanced, but if you disagree that's fine and i'll figure something out and make local changes.

Is there a way to get the "outside" or whatever the trapped indoors affect applied, like it's a glass type roof can it be made so pawns can go under safety of the ceiling yet still be "ourdoors"?

This mod has been suggested to me because it should make me able to remove thick roofs, is that true? I like to build my base inside mountains and my colonists have already met death maaaany times because of roofs collapsing...

This mod seems to be bugged. I get the error "Cannot get AdjustedCostList for ThickStoneRoofFraming with null Stuff" when I try to build it out of sandstone blocks. When I place thick roofing zones the blueprints all require granite blocks... there is no granite on my map.

"Removal of thick roofs" does it mean the cave roofs? can i remove them with expanded roofing mod?

Infestations will happen in your thick roof areas, so fuckin be prepped for that.

FYI to anyone who wants to know, this mod seems to make it so that if a wall is placed over a tree, the tree will not be deconstructed first.

mechanoid clusters still go through my thick granite roofs and land inside my rooms.

This sadly causes infestation chances to appear under built thick roofs which sadly ruined my entire base. Any workaround for this?

It would be nice if there were a gizmo on the solar controller to switch to solar roofing mode, like how beds have ones to place end tables etc.

For anyone having issues when building thick roofs: regardless of the materials that are listed, you can only build them from Jade, Sandstone, Granite, Limestone, Slate, and Marble, anything else will result in the roof disappearing

There are 2500 ticks per in game hour meaning 5k ticks is not anywhere near 167 days, it's not even 1 day; it's 4 hours. What am I missing?

Does the glass roof allow plants to grow?

They are making the thick roof in my game. I see them get the resources and do the roof. The issue I have is I've had 4 different raids put pods through the roof. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :/

Thick stone roof just remove the roof entirely, is that a BUG or I did something wrong?

Transparent roof on my end is just normal roofing, not at all transparent, no light going through, could not find the bug report area on the github page that peter was refering to

The transparent roof leaves a weird looking shade on every tile.

Can you add compatibility with solar power generators under a transparent roof?
