@Jl bl C U 4 competition from overseas has been too strong for domestic car manufacturers to claim a monopoly since the 80’s. Many foreign cars are cheaper and/or higher quality than their American counterparts. It’s been like that for decades, and personally I think it diversifies the market. Brands like oldsmobile or Plymouth are a relic of forgotten times now.
