@---DaryXao--- (and others who have asked for this) There's now a setting in the mod settings that lets you configure the range of food poisoning severity that triggers bed rest. Default is 20% to 100% (major and initial stages).

Hiya love the mod, have been using it for all my runs forever! Is there a way to stop a chef from cooking while being affected by food poisoning? In the recovery phase they still have a debuff to manipulation and often make more food poisoned meals cause of it.

@elves2017 Make sure bed rest is prioritized in the work tab. If you set a bed as medical and then select your pawn and right click the bed does it let you select the command to rest until healed? Also what stage of food poisoning are they at?

I don't know whether there is a mod conflict but this mod seems is not working in my game...the person get poisoned never reset for food poison.

Good mod. Should be vanilla. Have you considered adding other status like anesthesia & med/high level toxic sickness?

@MooseManACT: I've tried multiple tests [imgur.com] now to reproduce your issue, but I cannot. Colonists only stay in bed, for food poisoning, nothing else. It sounds like you have a mod conflict on your end. With over ~300 mods here, carefully checked and tested for conflicts, there are no issues and it does exactly what it says it does. Perhaps look into any other mod you use that affects colonist jobs, schedules, or health in any way.

Just make a barf room. Put the guy in there and lock the door until he is done vomiting.

any shot this could be updated to also include anesthesia? it's also ridiculous that pawns are up and working at 50% consciousness while still woozy.

Also, I know it's because of the scars 100%, since the instant I turned on god mode and deleted the scars the pawns began working properly again.

Not sure if it's this mod, but even with bed rest set to no priority in the work tab, after getting fibrous mechanites and then eventually being fully healed, any pawns with scars are now permanently on bed rest. This is the only mod I have that affects work priorities or medical stuff, so I would assume this is the culprit.

By reading the rimworld source code, I found a simpler and more effective way to implement this feature(using xml patch), please let me know if you are interested, there is no need to upload another mod to implement same feature.

It doesn't work for non-English languages. I found the [MustTranslate] attribute in your code, I don't know much about Harmony but apparently it's not working.

indeed, it has stopped working, cannot force to bed rest.
while i have installed about 20 more mods or so for my new playthrough, none of them do anything medical (except epoe but that also doesn't really count) which means, yup, it's not the fault of my mod list, also using rimpy and it shows no errors or warnings, that's that.
also as i'm here, i just want to say thanks for this!!! good mod. +1

no matter what stage, and no matter if there is a bed designated as medical or i have the medical beds for vital system, it works never. they just dont care about foodpoison and going on cook more food to get more poisoned pawns :P

@GER BomberPilot I hope we can fix this! Do you have any beds designated as medical? And what stage of food poisoning are you in?

nice idea but it doenst work. not able to force bedrest and no prioritized bedrest either.

I can't force a pawn to rest either. And I don't see my pawns resting as prioritized.

I can't force a pawn to rest when the food poisoning is through the recovering stage. is that intentional?

May you consider doing a patch for Dubs Bad Hygiene and also include "Diarrhea" in the list of afflictions? Should I talk to them instead?
