@Starempire42 Atlas is fine, just not available. We do not know what Kiwi is up to, but he's also fine according to his Twitter usage.

Theres a discord you can go to, to keep up with it.. given the level of stuff it took to rework to get us where we are, and the fact now we have kids to worry about in biotech, dont expect anything for 1.4 anytime soon. the plan is get a 1.3 beta, find the bugs, squish them, then work on 1.4 essentially it seems. Also tynan has a habbit of constantly adding new stuff for months after a new update tweaking, and adding content breaking mods in the process.

Don't take this the wrong way, i'm not trying to be a ♥♥♥♥, people have been asking for updates for 1.4 for mods the moment it entered unstable and its not fun to see that in a discord chat 5 times a day every day. Also nobody knows what happened to the lead dev of AT, even in the discord it seems, which is why the rework began as the person who stepped up to the place couldn't handle the spaghetti code and TPS hungry way it was coded.

Since the last update was over a year ago. I can only hope the work is nearly complete for 1.3 and then 1.4

Why? AT won't be update to 1.4, and is currently in a massive rework for 1.3, which also makes gynoids pointless as their being absorbed by the main mod. The rework will then be worked on for 1.4 AFTER its done for 1.3.

theres a lot of issues with base AT which both this and TX uses, so this may be an issue there.

I should say that the issue also happened on a TX4I and a TX3I from the TX mod so it might not be specific to Gynoids.

I have an odd one. Dunno if it's an issue with this or the original androids mod.
When I connect a Skymind core to a T4 gynoid surrogate, it starts off with an the colony ideology, then after a while the surrogate no longer has any ideology.
It might vanish after the certainty hits 100%.

It would be an honor, but there is a lot of strange history here given I wasn't the original creator, I just updated to 1.3 and found out how to allow crafting specific genders (Android vs gynoids)

My only request is credits for artwork and history of keeping this mod functional to be mentioned.

Hi, I'm here on behalf of the AT discord server. There are currently efforts underway to update and rewrite the base mod Android Tiers and the functionality of this mod is planned to be integrated. Would we have permission to use assets and/or code from this mod for this endeavour?

BNN are randomized but you can choose android or gynoid at the crafting table is what i mean

Interesting, what you did was one of the first thing's I did with surrogates after researching them in a playthrough, though I'm at a loss for words with your outcomes.. Most of the Ideo stuff is handled by the base mod, same with the mind transfer.

Ive been unable to replicate the issue, all gynoids and androids i spawn or build now have an ideology. I have a different issue now though.
The gynoid i build that didnt have an ideology was a surrogate that i upgraded with a brain, and then i uploaded the mind of a male t1 android to it.
While trying to replicate the bug i realized that i am now completly unable to upload any minds to a surrogate that was turned into a blank android with a t4 brain. I tried without any mods other than android tiers and gynoids + dependancies and still could not upload to a gynoid.
I gave up trying to replicate the issue now and just spawned a blank t4 gynoid with the devmode as a workaround.

So, in my quick dirty test, I'm able to convert T4 and T3 gynoids to my Ideo, and crafted ones automatically snap to it.. may be a mod conflict? (Test was done with only Android tiers and Gynoid)

They shouldn't have an issue joining an ideo, but I'll look into it.

Are the higher tiers supposed to be able to join a ideoligion? My male t4 and t5 androids joined without issue, but my t4 gynoid seems to work like a t1/t2. Wondering if thats a conflict in my game or this mod did not implement that (yet). Thank you for your work!

Well then. This, kind of means no spawns would work.

This is the only error that occurs in the log that was completely deleted before the disappearance of the T4 Body.

I had one unpleasant bug in which my surrogate android T4 (of course the female type) disappears from the workbench when the creation is completed. I didn't have time to try out other types, but the save scam showed that this is a sure bug.

ah yes now i remember, i had this conversation before.

Blank Neural Network androids have a 50% chance to spawn as a gynoid upon crafting. they are the only recipe that seems to work like this, which is why theres not a specific one.

No surogates are remotely controled, there is a third android type in the mod.

Normal androids.
Surogates: Remotely controled for use with VX chips
Blanks: No mind, and require one to be added later.

surrogates are mindless and require a mind to be uploaded into them, its how you upgrade a T1 to a T2 excetera, so not sure what your asking for.

What about the ability to make blank gynoids, you got surogates, and regular but no blank... meaning you have to kill one to upgrade one.

We did discuss it @Haus , if @Winterbloom is interested in making a fork I'd be willing to do the art if they are willing to do the code.

it was discussed to start with but didn't go anywhere, there is a reskin for t4s though.

Awesome mod. The only thing missing is hair, maybe only from T3 onwards. This way you could make your gynoids more unique.

Simple minded prevents tier 1s and 2s from even having an ideology which may be why, its something on the base mod though for sure.

Simple minded difference makes sense. Would that explain why other colonists consider T3 an alien but don't consider T1 one too? Thanks

T3s don't have the simple minded trait, meaning T3 males should also act the same as your T3 female. Also update, when i checked to see if this needed an update with a file comparison there wasnt a need to.

Love the mod! Not sure why but in my game with Human Alien Races mod Xenophobe meme T1 male is treated as an android (only energy bar) with no debuffs, but T3 female andoid is considered an alien by other colonist with - debuffs, and has some human bars (outdoors and beauty are present).
