I don't think the chromatic aberration is doing this any favors. IMO, it would be better to add subtle brush strokes to break up the solid colors.

maybe its just me but although its a cool effect I find these 3d type designs a bit sore to look at. glitch scream fortress and one of rytu's paints have this same effect and i just dunno man, maybe it just isn't for me i guess.
