Feels a lot more balanced to me to get only 1 hyperweave harvest per 2 devilstrand harvests, also removed the compatability with hydroponics since devilstrand also doesn't have that luxury.
Default mod settings just completely ruins devilstrand and indirectly makes thrumbofur a lot less valuable.
The Mod.
IS the config option for the whole workshop. I used it triple the growth time, it is quick
Balancing issues persist though, grows faster than devilstrand even.
I feel like it should take twice as long to grow as devilstrand and require at least 16-18 planting skill.
@bearhidrug, it's fine that you don't want it, then don't use it, but settings would allow people to tweak it without having to adjust the files which then get lost when the mod gets updated, perhaps try to think a little less selfish.
There are enough mods that allow tweaking of things. Notepad++ allows tweaking.
I vote no change..
Things are perfect
That way people like myself could make it take longer, while others if they don't care and just want to have fun could make it grow faster, perhaps they use custom biomes and would like to plant it outside so would like to adjust fertility, just some scenarios I can think of right now.
If you'd be up for mod settings that'd be pretty sweet, I'm sure other people would also appreciate it.
Can you tell me what do you expect to configure?
I just don't wanna break experience for someone who prefers easier way since it was original author's decision
I used rimmsqol to lower its drop amount a hair myself
I honestly think the grow rate should be halved, something like 40 days would be a lot more reasonable, still an infinite amount of hyperweave, but at a reasonable speed instead of drowning in overflow of basically the most powerful fabric in the game.
I think asking players to build more sunlamps, farming fields or hydroponics if they want more hyperweave is very reasonable.
Could dude just overlooked the research?
and even when you get it, its basicly Never enough to make 2 outfit pieces. let alone 50+ for your entire colony.
this seems like a great mod. ima try it out.
I've fixed this issue, please, give it a try, if you want.
Please, tell me if the problem still persists
