unbalanced. regular steam turbine has +4kDtu of heat. it is equal to 5 custom steam generators in terms of power production. but custom generators has 4 kDtu each, so it is 5 times worse than regular steam turbine. please, fix the heat generation values.

750g/s of refined coal for the custom coal generator is extremely high. You are going to run out of refined coal in no time. Sad, i was trying to find a more economic generator for early-mid game. Sadly this isnt it. Too much refined coal needed.

Hey TappyWappy, id like to point out that having a single pipe run through all outputs at the same time results in only the last output to actually let things out while all other do not pass the output marked pipe, this is normal in the game

I had 9 custom gas generators in a row getting fueled by natural gas. but only one of them would output polluted water making all the other generators display "pipe blocked" and not function. I had 3 generators each combine their polluted water output into one.

Would be cool if they could be tinkered with but maybe they'd need additional classifications aside from 'Industrial Machinery' (the "OG" versions are also listed as Power building/Generator/Heavy-duty generator)

Ok, got them to work, but needed to out the mods from the file folder and reinstall from scratch. The file was almost half the size afterwords.

Check if your mod version is 2.5.2 as stated in the description above. Keep in mind that the mod is working for me, and its working for my tester friend here, so its very likely to be a problem at your side.

How do I provide information? Whenever I turn on the mod, it crashes and is coloured red in the mod loader. Same with the other ones I mentioned. It has been that way since the last update.

I have some custom gas generators with natural gas piped in, and they won't start. They're enabled via automation with a smart battery, they have no errors, but they're just not starting.

am trying to build an ethanol based power system on the new DLC but somehow the ethanol going in is at -12C, yet the polluted water comes out at -28C or something. It freezes and damages the pipes immediatly. Is this heat deletion intended behaviour?

I have tried to use and enable Custom Generators Mod and when I try to restart it automatically disable the Mod. This is the only Mod I have trouble with. Any suggestions?

They shouldn't do that, especially since the output waste water is piped.

Quick question. Why have the gas generators emit polluted oxygen on shutdown? That makes placing them in a steam room problematic.

I believe I have fixed this issue already. Check if your mod is updated.

Has the "Steam engine generator" been removed/disabled? I can't find it either in the tech tree or the codex.

It is one of the greatest advantages of this mod - its implementation convenience. The fact that generators are narrow and high, but not unrealistic, their efficiency is calculated based on the surface area (and it looks nice).

And to be fair, why would a 1-tile wide hydrogen generator be useful, especially when the base generator already produces no byproducts?

I understand that you are not currently planning to create a hydrogen-powered generator. However, I would like to suggest that you reconsider.
It could produce 267W, consume 33g of hydrogen, and produce no waste products (other than heat).
I think a hydrogen-powered generator would be a valuable addition to your mod, as it would likely improve gameplay for many players.

By update you meant the mod is not working? It is working as far as my current game is and I haven't changed anything in the mod.

I know you have ideas, but could you update first, otherwise people will unsubscribe from this mods since it is two updates out of date.
