Man, i was so stoked to finally find a mod that encouraged travel for progression, but then my lander landed next to 3 uranium rocks and a silver Rock. Back to searching :(

Looking forward to trying this later tonight when fleeting freedom comes xD. Curious if your statement of "ores generally deeper than usual" is you reccomending a modded ore detector?

@MatrixVirus If you go into one of the mod's "Data" folder you will find at least one .sbc file. One of these defines the properies of the planet, including the ores that will spawn on it under "<OreMappings>"

@MatrixVirus The distances between the planets Satreus, Vihar and Luma range from 4000km to 8000km. The moons of Satreus and Vihar are at about 250km and the moons of Luma are between 1500km and 2000km away from it. So the whole system is about 10000km across.

@Defecticon I assume you're talking about this mod? I haven't heard of that mod before, but from what I can see it adds new types of ores, which would require you to modify the planets in order to actually spawn. So as far as I know this isn't compatible with that mod.

im kinda of a noob when it comes to space engineers so i didn't know what ore rocks meant, sorry :D and thanks for the fast response.

@Reysman You should be able to find it on all planets inside ore rocks on the surface, but obviously only in smaller quantities. That is still enough to build a regular refinery and thrusters etc. to get off of the starting planet.

the only place to get cobalt is on mora ? or you can find it on the other planets as well ?
