I need you to understand that the high amounts of radiation from Chernobyl brought barely ( if any ) humans, wildlife, fauna, or animals horrific mutations. The radiation emitted from the plant brought incredible sickness, skyrocketing cancer rates and death, but almost never horrible mutations directly brought from the radiation, such as extra fingers, legs, etc.

I've seen this comment (jokingly) stating how they can count how many times they've visited the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant on their hand, which normally should be at most how many fingers you have on your hand, 5, unless you were born with extra. The joke being they've suffered mutations that gave them an extra finger or multiple fingers on their hand from the radiation, so that they can count more to more then 5. For example, The Comedy Coomer, implied as a joke that they could count to 6 on their hand, which isn't possible unless you were surgically given or mutated one through multiple means. But in this scenario, its implied that they were given an extra finger through the radiation they were given from at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. This brings a false narrative to people which view their comment.

First and foremost, nuclear energy already has a bad public opinion, it is horribly dramatized and a lot of people don't like it, because of the few accidents that have occurred. Nuclear energy, is by far the best energy source we have right now, but is not being fully introduced because of the very few times accidents occurred pre-2000's. Now, a lot of the public think that nuclear energy is bad, and brings horrific disasters, horrible air quality, meltdowns, this and that. It's all untrue.

Look at France, the best example for nuclear. It is running on around 3/4's of its entire energy from nuclear for many many years and has yet to have a Chernobyl. Ukraine had a single nuclear power plant, and they used the RBMK-1000 design, which had multiple disasterous flaws, which, eventually caught up to them, and... April 26, 1986 happened. Since then, incredible progression has happened, nuclear power plants are a lot more safer and developed since 1986, although, that doesn't mean the public opinion has.

ANYWAYS, this entire section is me explaining how it already has a bad opinion despite being the best energy. Now, ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT, anytime an online post is made about Chernobyl, I almost always ( and I mean always ) see some joker commenting about how they can count how many times they've been to Chernobyl with their fingers, and how they have more fingers on their hand then they should, or HBO's Chernobyl reference here and there. It is a small detail, but seeing how much it is posted, you can kinda see how many people think this. It really tarnishes the opinion of nuclear.

In my final messages, The Comedy Coomer, I hope you can learn from your mistakes and not post any more of these untrue comments about nuclear energy. As an avid supporter, it pains me to see this and bring a false narrative. Thank you.
