To be clear: I think it is great, but I needs to be accompanied by vehicles and weapons with similar concept for maximum joy.
- If you climb down while hovering, you will get into Vortex ring state. this is a very dangerous state where the helicopter loses lift and start falling. increasing throttle won't be helpful, as it still won't gain lift and decrease pitch response. to escape it, you need to put throttle at middle or 0 and move the cyclic to gain horizontal speed.
- If you fly too fast, the main rotor will cause blade stall and make the helicopter unstable. each helicopters have different speed value for causing it.
- Bots now can land transport helicopters faster.
- The helicopter slowly moves to center by itself. the rotation speed varies based on the amount of throttle, current flying speed, and the helicopter's maneuverability.
- when the velocity is higher than 40, the helicopter will yaw to the flying direction. in order to fly sideways you have to hit the rudder to the opposite direction.
- the helicopter gains more lift as flying, so flying faster also means climbing faster. the helicopter will fly up when you try pitching up to stop, so perform a quick U turn to land quickly.
one small request: could you add a custom keybind mutator by chance? would make it easier to use for people like me who use shift and ctrl for collective
