Got the same issue with game crash while hovering over the GC icon. It happens somewhere in mid-game.

Is anyone getting a crash for hovering over the Galactic community icon? Like the community exists for a while and then when I want to open it again I just randomly crash. Anyone know a fix for this?

@yes wasn't there a little sign that shows you that your game is IM compatible when creating galaxy? Like in HoI4

if a mod changes the checksum, it is not ironman compatible, and if a mod adds, changes, or removes gameplay functionality, it probably changes the checksum. I'm gonna say its not ironman compatible, my condolences.

I'll look into it, but the mod should not be impacting anything regarding the formation of the galactic community. However, it could also be a coincidence, as the galcom does not immediately form when the requirements are met and does have a randomized delay up to a full in-game year, and the game sends events out to the AI asking them whether or not they want to join before creating the community.

Sorry to say that, but your mod may make forming the galacic community impossible in the game. I have contacted most empire in the game but community didn't formed, after disabled your mod the event immediately occured. So I guess there may be some problem in it.

I've not tested it, but I have no reason to believe it doesn't work. Its a very small and simple mod, and none of the intervening patches have seriously changed how the galactic community works.

Does this still work? Been tons of patches since this was last edited.

the galactic community is so slow that when i had focus on the crisis as the next thing it still took until after all the contingency fleets and planets got destroyed. i have messed with it so the crisis is more powerful in my save game now
