There is a 1.5 fork like kobi mentioned but for some reason loaded saves give androids funky hair styles and it changes with every game load. So the fork is bugged. Hopefully someone fixes it. Love this mod!

How do you recharge the Advanced Droids, i've placed down a hibernation plate and they are ignoring it for what will turn out to be a very obvious reason. Thank you!

Someone else picked up the Androids and Expanded mods and updated them to 1.4, rolled 'em both into one.
They said there were some minor issues to work out still, but it works.

Folks, author of the base mod "Androids" stopped working on it, says that somebody else can pick it up from him and update to 1.4. If you're a modder and willing to do that, please do - a whole bunch of people here will love you long time. Five dollah.

Droids will recharge by connecting to any power grid. If they run out of power you can also use battery packs like you would a normal drug to power them up. There's also solar dusters to passively power them and fuel belts IIRC.

To recharge them you have to have a battery on a power grid. Once there is a battery they will automatically hook up to the grid when they need a recharge.

how do you recharge them? Mine work and never refill there energy and die of 'energy shortage'.

A Shepard drone that could handle animals even if it couldn't tame them would be incredibly useful. I launched all my pawns into orbit except one and the animal pens at the ship launch location are getting full.

What mods cause the pathfinding errors that make these critters only look at their tasks, not complete them?

I also can't actually feed the chef bot, and it's in power saving mode now so technically "unconscious". I'm at a loss of what to do with it other than disassembling it which seems like a waste.

I'm not sure if i'm missing something, but my colony captured an enemy chef bot and I can't figure out how to recruit it. I have the options to recruit it or reduce resistance, but my warden just walks in the room, stands next to it silently and then leaves again but it doesn't give the option to go back and chat again immediately as if it was interacted with too recently. Am I not supposed to have the option to recruit them?

For some reason Wardroids are only capable of wearing vanilla shieldbelts, unlike Battledroids who can wear pretty much any modded shieldbelt if they are slotted to the waist/utility. I have no idea how to fix this.

Yo, found a bug with this mod regarding roofs.
Whenever a roof collapses on any droid from this mod, the game has a meltdown trying and failing to find parts on the droid to damage, for some reason creating a grey screen of death in the process.
Seeing as the creator hasn't posted in the comments of this mod since November last year, can anyone make a patch for this or something? I have no clue how you'd go about adding the droid parts in to be found by the game to damage.

Hey I've been enjoying playing with this mod But I noticed that the droids don't seem to build to style (ideology), is this something you're aware of and are looking to fix or are the robots just supposed to build the standard Rimworld style?

ps: A charging station would be welcome, I know they can charge if you have a battery plugged in but just a thought.

Not sure why, but when my engineer droid mined a cliff and exposed fog of war, it gave me the grey screen of death.

Mining the cliff with dev mode and "kill" didn't produce the grey screen effect. Could be this mod, could be my load order.

Would it be feasible to assign hibernation pads to individual warbots, so that they return there by themselves when they are idle? After a battle they are very useful to cremate the bodies and haul their loot but then they wander around opening doors etc. Every time I have to redirect all of them to their pads and I was wondering if it were possible to automate that. Thanks!

I started with The Mechanist scenario I assembled droids and they are basic models but they have the apperance of advanced ones

@Alex It is not limited to this mode. I found that the problem is related to the original mode. Original drones are seen as pawns

A mod I have has weapons that cause hypothermia.

I found out that droids do not lose hypothermia at all.

Any chance they could lose hypothermia?

I found that the pawns see all these drones as normal pawns. So if there is Ideoligion DLC and the diversity of ideas option from the Precepts is changed, then if any drones are created, the other pawns will have a mood buff/debuff. Does anyone have a solution for it?

Drones aren't doing the actions they run up and stand there looking at the task. Like mining.

@Jesus Cat: I don't use the hibernation pads myself, i just let the droids charge themselves at batteries.

@Mahadeva: I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I kept playing and it eventually fixed itself. I am not sure what caused it.

@ShiftyNoob7: Androids is required for this mod. Some of the sprites in Andoids get overwritten by this mod.
