Looking back on this, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up quite a bit as it's actually not a M65, but a Tropical Combat Uniform top (TCU), which was standard issue fatigues for the US military during and slightly post Vietnam. Eventually got replaced by the BDUs which are seen and featured in L4D1's military corpses.

The battle of hue was a major military engagement in the tet offensive by the north vietnamese, and the viet-cong, the combined south vietnamese and american troops slowly began to recapture the city. this took one month of intense bloodshed, rounds, and greandes. the battle was the longest and most bloodiest of the entire vietnam war. due to the battle of hue this negatively affected the Average American civilian's portrait of the war.

M65 Field Jackets from Vietnam require Aluminum zippers, 4 pockets, and a zipper collar. If anything, the jacket looks like a fake straight from the dan sinh markets to fool tourists.

nah nothing was conflicting i actually disabled all mods just in case there was a hidden conflict anywhere and left this one on and still the same problem
