I am no longer modding WH2, nor I am playing it - switched to WH3.
Last time I only confirmed this mod works fine, and as there are no planned updates for WH2, I will not touch it anymore.
I have already tried to convert it, but it does include textures rework, as WH3 changed the system models uses textures.
In addition, Assembly kit is not yet released.
Of course I will do my best to port it, but could not guarantee it, unfortunately.
Well, "conflict" in this case is simply record overwrite. Just if you wanna use both, you will have to decide which one will have priority (and load last).
99.9% it is a compability issue - TWWH2 was not updated since I last updated this. Try to load this mod last and check if issue persist.
SFO version implies that you just copy-paste SFO units stats to the modified ones.
As far as I know SFO team has pretty easy-to-use guide for how to do this yourself.
I am no longer playing TW WH2. When CK will be released for TW WH3, if Real will not port his mods, I will try to, definetely.
Well, I used it myself, our guild used it, as well as 4k other subscribers. I have not been reported performance impacts, so I am not sure I could help here.
No, that is not the case because I've been running other mods that also include custom assets and they do not impact my performance what so ever,
This is your own PC specification issue. Custom textures do not have different quality options, thus they are always vanilla (highest) quality. There is nothing to do with it except of upgrading PC.
As mentioned, it is not my work, actually - I only updated and packed couple of mods by @Real
I do agree with you, but my modelling skills are not even close to do it myself
In theory - yes. But the issue is, that modifying models requires modifying main unit table, which also contains unit stats. So you could have this replacer together with SFO, but units will have vanilla stats, not balanced for SFO.
Their team, tho, has a guide on their discord server describing how to convert vanilla-balanced units to SFO stats. It will not take a lot of time, technically it is just copy-pasting.
Nice.
Too bad Real never shared the modding process though. I could extract the body mesh but can't add back in game.
and you could leave them for me too :P
@Hmm 🤔
Well, that is why mods do exist - when you could edit the game how you like. And I personally am a big fan of such "skimpy stuff")
Seems to be working correctly, no update needed.
@Throbbing4Jeremus
This is technically creating new mod, while this one is just repacking of original one.
For this I would definitely need a permission from Real, which I tried by have not received.
I have not touched the models at all, only updated em and combined within one pack.
Hm. Might be due to some update, ill check
It is working correctly. Please try to launch the game with only this mod enabled - there is a possible incompatibility with other mods, especially overhauls - which is mentioned in the description.
I was able to make the DE use the female spears and the cavalry too, but I can't export a new mesh into the mod...
Believe me, if I would not be a fan of Real's work, I would not make an update for it)
However, Chinese modders (and Real is Chinese) are usually making only a few awesome mods and... then they disappear.
Hope some one will once raise a fallen flag. Or original author will return)
