i agree, i would download this mod if it weren't for the non-symbol resprites.

I think non-symbol resprites (Magic Mushroom, Bible, etc etc) should be put in a separate mod, they are cool resprites but I just want the symbol ones and it makes the title kind of misleading

changing colors, adding shading, and visual effects on the bg (like the wings on lord of the pit) makes them look way better than just flat symbols

I don't know how mod compatibility works myself, but I wonder if it would be possible to resprite Sisyphus and Curse of Saturn from the Job mod. Perfectly fine if you can't, but just a suggestion if it is possible. Great mod nonetheless though. The items now actually look strong and mighty, which is good considering most of the symbol items are god-tier.

I'm not sure I like the volume 4 resprites, but the rest are really awesome

A lot of these are cool but it's annoying to try to manage the conflicts between this and other graphics mods I use. I'd love to be able to use config mod to set which sprites from this pack I want to use.

great sprites but they really dont fit the games artstyle, a lot of the colors are not in the games pallete and dont look like it, the sparkles are too indie gamey and no items ingame have them and their size is also inconsistent with ingame items. theres also misc stuff that feels inconsistent with the artstyle

Is there any chance that you'd consider doing a full overhaul of all item sprites at some point? Your style really adds a nice touch, I've come to really enjoy it!

@Eika-Akatosh It is compatible. I will note though that if this mod and Viscer's mod both have a resprite for x item (such as Duality), this mod takes priority.

@nothingthere i get what you're talking about, but if you don't hae it changed, you end up with one really good sprite, snd a mediocre sprite that still have similarities to the good sprite, maybe you can change anemic into something that isn't just blood lust but flipped, like i've seen anemic be reskinned into big blood cells, maybe you could do that, also i thought the origonal purpose of the mod was to make symbols and other items that don't use much shading better but i'm not here to judge

The symbols never bothered me, but these all look amazing

@limbsonthefloor I appreciate the long list of ideas for resprites, but one of them rubs me the wrong way. The main concept behind this mod is so I can make items look flashier and additionally easier to distinguish between each other! The reason Bloody Lust was changed so vastly was so that it would be much different that Anemic.
That being said, again, I appreciate the ideas, and I may take some of them into consideration!

, pay to win: it doesn't fit the game's artstyle, which i get is the point but i don't like it, blister: doesn't look like a blister imo, converter: doesn't look like a converter, anemic: bloodlust was changed so that has to cahnge for consistency (maybe it was chaned, i'm going off of the preview images),TMTrainer, and glitched crown: i'd much rather prefer that the icon was fixed and them move certain rows of the sprite up and down, kinda likke what you did for gb bug, lil portal, void, echo chamber, berserk, abyss, vengeful spirit, redemption, quints, dogma (item): they're all icons that have no shading or a bit too little shading, but for abyss you just have to make the color pallette the same, cracked crown, bloody crown, holy crown, and wicked crown you changed the other crown items, so change these aswell for consistency.

ok, here's some items that i wanna see redone, trisagion: idk i just don't like it personally, bozo, just looks a bit bland, eye of belial: doesn't look like an eye with the pupil always staring at the sky, holy shat: explosivo was changed, and they're very similar to eachother so i assume that would be changed for consistancy, epiphoria: it's just 3 of the same tear sprite copied, seems a bit bland imo, the negative: this one is just kind of a small change, i want the outlines of the negative to be inverted as well, 20/20: same problm with old wire coat hanger, it's just a black outline, missingno and m': needs shading, and the colors should be the colors that the missingno sprite had, so white, light orange and light purple, daemon's tail: same problem with 20/20, it has not much shading, no!, 404, endless nameless, nuh uh!, and equality: all of these trinkets are basic symbols with not much else going on.

it's nice to see how with every update the mod gets better! And since there are not only signs here, I would like to suggest a few more sprites:
Juda's Shadow and Breath of Life (they only have 1-2 colors)
Como Undies (it doesn't look like undies at all)
Plan C (it's just the red version of Forget Me Now)
Linger Beam (very similar to Mega Bean)
Polydactyly (I have no idea what this is at all, the sprite is very strange)
