have you enabled it in addon menu? if its not there check your downloads by clicking downloads at the bottom of your steam client. and if its still not there then unsubscribe and re subscribe checking all the things said above.

go into the ship folder and see if that contains the rest of the files

its kind of complex but just read this: Go to steamapps/common/The Ship and copy the following folders: (push ctrl down and left click on the folders if you didn't know already) maps, materials, models, particles, sound.

Then navigate to steamapps/common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons. Create a new folder, doesn't matter what the name is, but i suggest something simple like The Ship or TS. Open the folder and paste the maps,materials,models,particles and sound folders there.

After that, create a text file inside the THe Ship folder and name it "addon" without the quotation marks. And leave the file empty.

It comes with all textures except the ship content which is for the doors and some textures on this map

The comments thread is being misleading I think. Do we actually require all css and game content or will the content from The Ship and L4D/L4D2 suffice?

I know. It is weird without it though because when I open doors to the rooms, like I would fall straight down to the map. LIke there is no room so I have to no clip through the map to get the the rooms. But dude this is one of my favorites now because of how awesome it is! OH MY GOD
