Any chance you could add an option for the mantle to work like Tainted lost's?
Like, have it be only once per floor
I really like the mod, but I think I'd feel less like a stinkin' cheater if the mantle wasn't so easy to maintain :zagpls:

You might want to check the last few lines of the log at "Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Repentance/log.txt" as well.

I'm not sure, I just tested with Better Dark Esau set to vanilla and broken heart modes and it granted the shield in the same room I became a ghost either way.

That's not the intended behavior, no. You should receive a Holy Mantle when you become a ghost and also once every room.

apologies for four comments in a row, but is it intentional that lost jacob doesnt immediately get a holy mantle upon becoming a ghost? cause as it stands it currently causes charges that turn you lost to kill you more often than not

Better Dark Esau makes this mod give you holy mantles when touched, and instead of getting ghosted OR getting a broken heart, the holy mantle shatters immediately and you can rub against dark esau to generate infinitely stacking holy mantles per room

@Satixxxxd I need more information to be able to replicate a crash and fix it. What happened when the game crashed? If you repeat this does it crash in the same spot?

I think the glow effect stays after you become normal Jacob, even though there's no actual holy mantle effect
