UPDATEE it doesn't need animUV paramas and it also works with PO and i kinda expected it not to neead animuv but i still gave it a try

Yes they do work, but sometimes do not start with the game. It either takes some time or a reset with Move It gets them going again. I used them in a park plaza asset I made, someone was asking me on my listing - https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2866300930

Thanks - the prop uses the animUV shader script - here is a good guide to how its used. https://cslmodding.info/shader/animuv/#props
Basically you give it instructions to shift the UVs over a texture, which you organise into frames. I painted the alpha texture and used a stock photo of foamy water for the diffuse: https://twitter.com/bobsymay/status/1416914429883478018

Actually even the meshes are identical, just scaled within game, so they should be getting reused too I think.

@Dreadfuldark thanks - each crp is 5.6MB and use the same textures. The meshes are around 30KB. The way I understand LSM works is that repeat textures are identified by the mod, reused and aren't loaded, so do not consume additional RAM. Hence.. probably only 5MB RAM use.

@REV0 I saw that one when I was looking around for inspiration material. Honestly it's probably doable with a similar texture to this one, just needs work making the cascades closer to seamless, since the falling is so much slower you'd need to chop it up more (as in, can't easily add more frames to smooth it out, so to slow it down the cycle needs to travel less distance mesh-wise).
