They didn't fix this because it was never a bug. I'll port my mods when I get round to it.

In case anyone is still wondering, I confirm:
- works in SFO
- works in multiplayer campaigns
- works in battle
- works

This seems to work with SFO. I haven't checked if the abilities work as intended, but teh skill tree shows it fine.

Yes, to bad about the stacking. I wish it was something I could do in the mod, but just isn't feasible. Perhaps with scripting.

Yeah, if you could stack them it would be great, but as you cant its actively bad as it prevent you to put the best effect for the artillery piece. Much better that way.
