You could make multiple types of deserts, like the sandy ones, rocky ones etc and also, the people who say "deserts are too hot to grow trees" "trees don't grow on deserts" "pines don't exist in the desert" first of all pines do exist in deserts in some places like Afghanistan and other central asian countries, and also not all deserts are just extremely hot sandy deserts, the 2 biggest deserts are actually very cold, antarctica and the arctic desert.

I can see some trees in a desert, but I doubt you can put pine trees in every map you have done and it will work...
