They can kinda act like armoured conveyors, same pcu as conveyor corners and also not as ugly or performance impacting as using a whole conveyor junction.

Cool ship, but why are there, like, 20 shops blocks hidden inside it??

Personally, I either start front or back

If from the front I get a bow shape with armour, add rockets thrusters ect. and work back

If from the back, I add thrusters then create an armour housing and work forward

I then add the interior from the hollow frame I've created in either case

I don't go interior first cos I can't get a good external shape - that's just me tho

a good ship, I have a question, how do you build spaceships, do you first make a conveyor system and put modules or create rooms and then equip them with modules?
