So i wound up wrangling claude 3.5 into making a set of 3 python scripts that use regex to automatically do this task however it replaces the triggers with 'development = 1' It does work though.


add me on discord 'starofremphan' and you can grab em to test out.

I was going to uplaod my files as a mod but considering how your mod already does this task and im pretty sure when i checked them you also added the conditional modifiers from each tier to the country_modifiers manually as well. If you didnt my script will be able to help automate that.

a lot of monuments in China are missing too, careful if anyone is planning on using this mod. Removing this mod mid-save does not bring back missing monuments. You gonna have to restart your save.

I tried to unlock all conditional modifiers so if some are locked by mission then u get them even before doing it (unless it is modifier is coded in a mission's file, then u need to do mission). In theory only ones that should be locked are Canals mission

About Canals: I just deleted that portion of my mod, so game should use vanilla file for that so if it's still not working .... that ain't because of me. XD

Just remember that you need to start a new game for mod to work.

Do the new monuments get the bonuses from finishing their related missions? I'm playing Cusco/Inca and it doesn't look like those are included with or without their missions completed

Same with the Kiel Canal, it will only trigger if emp_brapru_kiel_canal is completed. Fix is the same.

For the Suez canal bug, it's being caused by the build_trigger being changed from requiring either adm tech 22 or completing a mamluk mission to only requiring the mamluk mission. Unless you're Mamluk and do that mission, it'll never appear. Adding "adm_tech = 22" to line 213 in 00_great_projects.txt should fix it, or delete "mission_completed = mam_highway_empire" to remove any requirement.

I have a small problem with monuments that have negative effect. This mod make that they are also applied. For example Mecca has a negative effect making the monument almost useless and it is applied because everything is unlocked.
Is it possible to correct that?

yeah and its not just the suez canal either. the Kiel canal in north germany doesnt show up, but oddly enough the panama canal can still be built

I found a pretty rough bug - Suez canal does not work at all with this mod, it doesn't even show up as build able, I have updated the mod and ran it only with Monuments expanded to make sure that this was the mod at fault and yeah it is

Thank you my friend. I'm seeing the monuments now. Kinda sucks that I have to restart cause I was having a pretty good game about to hit the 1600s. But it's whatever. Rather have my monuments.

What I love about this mod is that it disables all of the requirements for every monument. Even for different mods. I had been searching for something that would do this for so long until I stumbled upon the Great Monuments Expanded mod and your add-on.

Had a blast with the mod collecting all the monuments like Pokémon, but now i've got the same issue as Timotheos, last update made multiple monuments disappear in my save.

Love the mod, enjoy it a lot, thanks for keeping it alive!

Hey mate, slight problem with your latest update. It makes a lot of the vanilla monuments disappear.

For example, the Monument in Naples disappears, The University in Cairo disappears, and the Idea Cost monument in Pest (Hungary) disappears.

I have the same issues and can confirm what Waruiko wrote.
".\common\great_projects\GME_North_China.txt" still has all "can_use_modifiers_trigger" and "can_upgrade_trigger" set.
I might consider forking this mod to fix this issue

The North China file in your mod hasn't had its conditions to use properly wiped on my end even after uninstalling and reinstalling the mod with and without refreshing all mods. it seems to be the case for all North China monuments so you might have just saved the wrong .txt doc to the mod folder when you loaded the mod to the workshop.

I found the issue with the Korea monuments. You mod has tier based conditional modifiers that restrict monument use. This looks to be what is causing the problems.

Are you sure you don't have a hanging bracket or something because I can have only GME and GMEafa as my only mods and in the right order and I still get listed requirements for those two monuments

It looks like there are some monuments that aren't unlocked for general use. 1816 is showing me as unable to use the "temple of heaven" or "thirteen ming tombs" wonders

Oh, i see what was my the problem.
Vainilla+GME+GMEafa does work well

but Europa Expanded +GME +GMEafa doesn't seem to work. I guess the Europa Expanded files overwrite the GMEafa ones?
i tried with different loads order but i can't make it work.
That's a shame, but I assume is intended and this is *only* for playing with GME alone?

Looks like it's all good now. Thanks for the mod and the quick updates!

I was able to load it onto an existing save which had GME active and it seems to be working fine.
