*Sigh* I miss the Biomes mods. More Vanilla Biomes Oases are too small, the base games aren't lush enough, Biomes mod really reached into the concept fantasy for its biomes. This is really the only way to get close to what my minds eye says should be Egyptian Nile.

I've always looked forward to this mod but by the time I downloaded it, I was already fully invested it to a world I already made. By the time I finally got ready to start a new one, Rimworld had updated and made it incompatible. I think I might actually hold off of playing Rimworld just to try this out when it's ready.

@SCARRIOR Ahh that might be the case. I think it's coded something along the lines of "more fertile biome, more plant spawns"

Nevermind, I noticed that there are some trees spawning, no idea if this biome is slower, but I am used to playing on tropical rainforest, I guess trees spawn faster in the tropical rainforest?

I've noticed that trees and plants and such are not reseeding and regrowing in the biome, is this a common issue? Harvested some trees and they don't regrow.

Also having the issue of Chromatic Oasis replacing every desert tile with Regrowth Expanded World Generation (Continued) and had to disable it due to this. Hope this can get fixed as I love the mod.

@Sean I also have the issue of the Chromatic Oasis Biome replacing every desert and extrem desert. Which mod are you using for changing the biome commonality? I use "ReGrowth: Expanded World Generation (Continued)" by Mlie. I tested by lowering the biome commonality multiplier of the Chromatic Oasis from 100% (Base no changes, which then causes the issue) to 50%, this made it so the Biome didn't spawn at all (Normal generation of Dessert and Extrem Dessert). I haven't tested other numbers, but I believe changing the multiplier to anything below 100% makes it so the Biome doesn't spawn at all which kinda fixes the issue. If you are using the mod World edit 2.0 you can edit the Chromatic oasis back in. But the generation of this biome is defenetly bugged.

I've noticed the Herons wont scavenge at all. I have them by a pond and a river and they starve unless i feed them.

+1 for all desert tiles or at least a significant portion of the map being Chromatic Oasis for a while now, I have to use Biome Commonality to reduce how many tiles this spawns, granted I have a shitton of mods but the only ones that change map tiles are your excellent series here and the Ashlands Mod.

I notice this mod doesn't have the same "Frequency" line as your other ones do with the "Biomes Kit" ? I may be misremembering what it says. if i can pin point the cause I'll mention it here. just crazy how much it covers and this wasn't always the case earlier this year.

im getting a weird error were all the Ocean area turned into "Chromatic Oasis"when starting a new world, if i click on it the map shows nothing but sand (i have the map preview mod)

It would be great if there was an option to reduce the size of the lake in the middle, because it takes up almost half of the map size.

@madrigal That bug should have been fixed with the new update that was pushed 12 hours ago. Sometimes Steam fails to update mods for a while. Does it keep happening if you unsubscribe, wait for Steam to update, resubscribe, wait again, and then relaunch the game?

This mod seems to require Biomes! Islands and it's associated Pathfinding Framework in addition to Biomes! Core. It loads fine with Royalty in my mod list, so whatever you did fixed it. Anyway, this won't load for me if I only have Biomes! Core in the list. I got log messages similar to the one Kerican posted until I added Biomes! Islands. I just wanted to comment since Islands isn't listed as a requirement in the Description.
I also have Fishing Expanded and Dubs Bad Hygiene in the list. Everything else is just the typical UI stuff. Anyway, it's a nice looking mod and I'll give it a full try once I finish with the Caverns.
