In the vast, merciless desert, there exist small spots of life and color. Areas rich in groundwater, or where the rainwater pools together in sufficient quantities to support a thriving and unique ecosystem: The Chromatic Oasis!
Here you find rare plants and animals, from the magnificent gem scorpion to the nourishing aquamelon.
Build your colony here, among the palms and the reeds, and show the desert that you do not fear it.

This mod is compatible with many mods, important ones being other biome mods.

Lots of colorful new plants and animals!

Birds: Palm Warbler and Heron

Bugs: Scarab, Scorpion, and Tarimtula

Crops: Dune Delight and Aquamelon

A: We add multiple new plants and animals as well as unique terrain generation!

Q: Will this mod continue to be updated?
A: Probably! We might add more plants and animals here and there

Q: Does this work with other biomes mods?
A: Yes, yes it does!

Q: Can this be added mid-game?
A: Yes, but the new biome itself will NOT show up.

Q: CE compatible?
A: No, but if you make a patch let us know!

Q: Are you folk recruiting?
A: We are always willing to take on more team members, although we currently need programmers and sound designers more than anything else!

Q: I'm getting an error in Fluffy's Mod Manager where it says something about needing Biomes! Core version 0.0.0, what do I do?
A: You either report it to that mod, or do nothing. It is safe to ignore.

*Sigh* I miss the Biomes mods. More Vanilla Biomes Oases are too small, the base games aren't lush enough, Biomes mod really reached into the concept fantasy for its biomes. This is really the only way to get close to what my minds eye says should be Egyptian Nile.
