You need to download L4D2 Authoring Tools on Steam then vpk should show up.

I did follow instructions but the promblem was the vpk.exe doesn,t exist in the bin

this is weird yesterday i was able to see the military and cops from the Extended common infected i do have the mod and yesterday it was working fine.
im on Suicide Blitz 2 and i should be able to see military ceda and cops on the street but i dont i dont know if this is a problem on my end or a problem with the mod but its just weird thats all

Even if there's a horde there are no military I even set the chance so that most common infected are just military but there's nothing. I have no idea what i'm missing

Well CEDA streets are should be in 1 chapter in front of a hotel that you leave. You can test if it works with admin menu by spawning a horde on the cursor. (it will use population of the area that you spawn it in) Also type in console nb_blind 1 so that infected wont see you.

Also check that you didnt make any mistakes in file. Like adding additional { in the place is not intended.

I did tweak some chances like lowering or increasing but I mostly kept everything at default setting that you set. But a big discrepancy that I noticed was there was no appearance of the prisoner infected in the prison even tho the chances were set to 75. As well as military infected not spawning in the streets. I came with the conclusion that it just didn't work.

Sorry but i never had that problem so i dont know what you should do. Maybe try it again. I mean if you people are strugling so hard maybe you should just use the orignal template. It spawns infected logicly so dont worry about that.

Ok so i finally made it into a vpk but it dispensed after i put it into the addons folder please help me

It shouldnt really matter what name it has. Does it work? Like are the commons that you set spawn?

Hey um so an issue. It dosen't work but I put the custom vpk into the addons file and when I booted the game up and when I checked the files again it just turned into something called CUSTOM~1 I don't know if I'm on the right track or not.

Also you can just be subbed to this template without editing it. You can change it but is not obligatory.

Put it in the addons folder. Also yes you need to usubscribe from this or else it will conflict. You will need the nav version tho, so dont unsubscribe from that. Also i will be updating this mod so you will have to edit your population and add new areas that i added with each new update.

Ok it works and I just turned the custom maps into a vpk all I need to do is just put in the workshop folder right. Also do I need to unsub from the custom nav. population for it to work as well or could I just keep it subbed

Maybe try downloading left 4 dead 2 authoring tools.
