just tested this. some issues:

1. crashes the server
2. when adding them to cars they randomly unfreeze
3. still has bumping issues

@NextKuromeThe76Soldier simfphys wheels dont spin it's just an effect. to test yourself parent a hologram to the wheel on the simfphys car and drive it around and the hologram will not spin it will go up and down with the tire but not spin.

So i'm not sure what is going wrong, I can add a ball socket center to the wheel. But if I try to add any type of ball socket that doesn't have full movement available across all 3 axie's, when I unfreeze the wheel it launches off into the nothingness and never returns. I'm simply trying to limit the wheel's movement to only rotating along the X axis in relation to the axle that it is ball socket centered on.

simfphys needs to use those functions for thier wheels, they still use spherical, making them act wierd with large wheels when close to walls...

@shadowscion This isn't a replacement for make spherical, it's just different - both have their quirks.

@Chris! 150 is very high. You can’t really create an inverted mesh with the tools gmod provides. If you’d like to create the smoothest possible, set the iterations to 1 and the detail very high. I found that “spiky” meshes actually work better (Detail 3, Iterations 50).

does it create the mesh inverted maybe? Surely you'd want the inner side of the mesh which seems to be very very smooth on the outside. As I'm having trouble getting a mesh setting of 150 and above to roll without bouncing.
