Hey, I found a little bug (or interaction?): I just had a run where I got this item and Found Soul. It seems like the stats you get from this item are doubled as long as Found Souls is alive. You will probably end up unable to fire due to the high fire rate with this combination, so I just wanted to let you know.

Idk if it was said before but if you get more than 30 tear rate, you are not able to shot at all
Idk if it could actually happens but I saw that there is no limit for this item to reduce the tear delay

Hey 989fox989 Im making a mod called "I will become back my money". its centered around the meme and TheTurtleMelon told me that this existed and it would be perfect for my mod. would you mind if I used this as a starting item?

@Isterbollen I've tried to change the way this mod calculates damage. Unfortunately, Isaac modding calculates damage differently to the way the game calculates damage, making it impossible to give normal damage ups. My solution is hacky and doesn't work 100% accurately. Hopefully they either update the modding API, or someone updates the Stats API to be compatible with Repentance.

Something is up with this item when combining it with other items lol, I had it then picked up almond milk, but I didnt get any damage reduction what so ever and it just completely broke my run lol. Everytime I got it it has given me insane damage + tears up and kinda broken the whole run. Its a fun item but something is wacky with it making it way stronger than I think was intended.

I think it'd be simpler to just add a small list of exceptions. Story items, for example, are all quality 0 despite Dogma being a pretty major stat upgrade, the Knife doing pretty good damage while you have it, and the Key Pieces having that ever-handy angel chance up. Holy Water and Charm of the Vampire are the only quality 0 non-story items that definitely shouldn't be (clearly these numbers were decided on before the sweeping buffs to these), and I don't see too many outliers in the quality 1 section - maybe Consolation Prize, which is by definition the best stat upgrade for 90% of all situations?

Great mod, but I think instead of item quality, you should just make a list of all the "garbage" items in the game. What determines an item as bad is subjective (for the most part) but item quality isn't directly linked to an item being bad. For example, Rock Bottom has a quality of 0. Once again, great mod, and you don't have to change anything if you don't want to, this is just a suggestion.

It should give you a gold heart every time you buy something from the shop so that you can "become back my money"
