This is what I looked for. A simple, functional and still stylish base, what is easy to extend and comfortable to live in.

Thanks! Yeah, you just need one grow plot in the center of the 3x3 area, for a hydroponics bay. The rest can still be the original wood blocks.

Take the floor out and put in grow plots UNDER the hydroponic pods. I figured it out. Great base!

I've rebuilt this base three times. I cannot place plants on it, it says "this plant cannot grow here". Oxygen is on, the base is oriented to O, same thing no matter what I try. Got 6 hydroponic bays ready to go and I can't install them. Luv the base or I wouldnt have built it three times, lol but I cant put any plants in it. Any ideas?

BP Updated Today: Added 2 additional 320k containers, 4 additional 16k cargo boxes, updated some texturing & block shaping, and dedicated a spot for a teleporter (motion sensor included).

totally love it in fact. I adjusted this in creative and it seems to work but I did add a fuel and small gen just in case. I find the 24 you can panels you can get in RE works quite well

Thanks Jonas! I will give it some thought, regarding a planetary base. From my experience, planets do not yield enough solar power, especially when mixing in night, to sustain a base. The changing sun position also makes planets challenging to position panels properly. I’ll add this to my list to evaluate though! Thanks for the feedback & glad to hear you like this base!
