This car sounds awful.seems it didn't performed well under your new sound engine😢

I just drove the car and i like it very much and i will keep this mod.
The sound is the only thing that needs a change in my opinion.
A decent reverb would help to get rid of the "dryness" i think.
At a little amount of speed the sound also gets thin and looses all of it's Bottom.
Can you add some lower Frequencies to it?

Bloody love this car! I keep coming back to it again and again. It's so agile yet planted. Really feels like you're in a strongly damped stiff chassis on slick tyres. Some comments about the tyres below but I think they are brilliant. My only complaint is that we won't get a full grid of Class 1 cars. Thanks 👍

The tyres physics are "ok", apart that the abysmal default setup that makes the car oversteer at corner exit and understeer at corner entry, also you might lower the brake pressure alot to make it better since the brakes are way too aggressive
Even with a setup oriented to have max rear grip at corner exit the car still snaps the rear end and that's what lowers the 'fun' factor for me (No ABS and no TC).
If you go with ABS on and TC at medium, this car will be alot easier to drive around, but it's not intended to have it IRL
Soundwise, it's okayish, i've seen better sounding cars, but since we never saw this BMW in real life, it's acceptable. The exterior sound is too low for me.


Will give this car a 7/10, the default setup is just too bad to give it a better review, you must take your time to tweak it to your liking before trying it out, or you'll not like this car.

what happened to the sound of the car? sometimes rF2 sound phenomenal and sometimes not at all, everything is out of balance .. A solo car is boring, Audi, Mercedes? ok the area is over anyway. Nice looking model but the sound kills it

I have peculiar issue with simvibe when running this car and the Ligier. Road bumps go berserk and cause me to have to either turn it off all together or turn down by at least 50% intensity. Curious to see if anyone else experiences this with these two cars.

Wow what a great improvement i always respect DTM and said it was underated oh the sound and handling is superb.

Another strange thing: FPS on Zandvoort 2.58 drops a lot when driving the M4.. also not happening with other cars...?

I managed to get a better FPS when turning off all reflections....

ps. despite my findings: I really love driving this car

When starting from the pit-garage and when hitting something: the throttle goes flat-out, even when I dont touch the pedal...? This doesnt happen with other cars...

dtm is dead

Nice addition but killing my fps. usually get smooth 84 fps but getting half of this in Silverstone pit area. Rises to about 60 when on the track. Keeping it in my collection for the moment.

Perfect car for multiplayer racing. Not easy to bang out entirely consistent laps when you have this amount of turbo always ready to kick in. That's why it is so much fun. DRS doesn't hurt either. I'm not qualified to judge the tyre model, sadly, but it's a lot of fun overall.

Tyres are much better than what we are used to (GT cars at least). They will lose and regain grip when they should, I didn't test temps and wear but so far this car is pretty much what we should expect from a real counterpart.

Really enjoyable car.

if you can add a Mercedes and a BMW like this we can create opur OWN 2021 DTM , better than the new one ;)

Rapidly becoming my favourite car in sim racing. The aggressive turbo means you have to manage speed out of corners. The aggressive brakes mean you have to trail brake nicely because if you stomp too hard then you spin off at corner entry. The sound is fantastic and the cockpit model is nice. Fantastic addition to rF2.

What these cars supposed to race against, T5 URD?, or what?

I'm thinking, that this car is the freebie and when the new GT3 debuts, THAT will be DLC.

Amazing car and must be driven very carefully, don't put all the gas pedal to the floor or you will be eating grass and bugs.

This is a top car. The new tyre model is by far the best that a sim could give right now. This car require respect to drive as would any race car. Just putting pedal to the floor then you will not survive. Learn and respect you will have a great experience. Thankyou Studio 397

The track is Monza.

Downloaded it 3 times. The sound effects, especially the downshift are earrapes. The Force Feedback is nowhere and all the time I feel like driving on ice. I belive that this is a nice car but buggy as hell.
