I have posted a new version where the list of educators should no longer be empty. Assigning guardians seems to be a bit buggy in general right now, but I don't think I can do much about that.

Update please, the notification brings up an empty list of educators :)

I don't know myself because I never tried adding this to an ongoing save, but it should be. Just make a backup of your save before you try it.

I might make a mod that also shows an alert for vassals who need a guardian. However, I don't think it would be compatible with this one, because I would have to overwrite action_can_assign_guardian twice. I will think about what would be the best way to do that.

Yeah I'm not for autoassigning guardians either, great mod btw. Can you maybe make a seperate one where it gives me a warning for also childrend that lacks a guarding for vassals ? Because I noticed sometimes grandkids are not having a guarding and the message of it is hidding, need to click the suggestions button first before I can see that some are lacking a guardian.

Thank you very much for this mod! The amount of times I have to go down the list to find who's missing a guardian cuz someone died in a war. This is huge game changer for me and I mean it! X'D

And as for that one comment about auto-assign is reductant to me. I'd hate the idea that the one very good genius child gets a poor guardian cuz my best guardians were auto-assigned to kids before this child...

No, I can not make a mod where guardians are auto-assigned. Or at least I currently have no idea how I would do that. Nor would I myself want to play with that, so...
