@Private Tito :: not sure on adding an engram, as added engrams always causes issues sooner or later when doing things like traveling across Arks and all. Not really to keen on the idea, seeing as all the functions are within the standard engram. That being said, ever thought about one of the many engram unlockers that allow for Aberration engrams on all other worlds as well?

could you also add the engram for other map that doesn't have fishing basket? that would be excellent because on my aberration world it's working great, but I also play on other DLCs and want to use your mod

Private Tito :: that's because there is no engram. you are looking for something that doesn't exist. as per the description, the mod changes the behavior of the original fish baskets, so simply make the fish baskets as you normally would and they will have the new function/features.

what does the engram looks like? I don't see the engram for some reason

Removed the "Bucket" as was having issues with it causing conflict with some other mods. Haven't had time to readd it. the basket add features are still 100% in this as that is the primary use for this mod.

Faye :: thanks for letting me know. Yea, that would be a bug due to the auto feature activating based on seeing it as a object in the world. I'll work on it after work later today.

Seem to have a bug/(feature?) where the ghost outline when placing is capable of catching a fish (maybe single player only)

1. yes it's working.
2. yes you can use it.
3. maybe it's done, and maybe it's not.. all depends what i decide to add/modify later, however it's in working condition. All mods are due to change, update, as time go by.

I would like to expand this a little bit to include a "fish bucket "that allows you to place the "caught fish" into it, and it extends the spoil time, but I really suck at making textures. if anyone could make me a good looking Metal Fish Bucket, I would be like to get the feature added. feel free to ping me on discord at Temil2006#6107

Glorious! When the Shadow Mane came out (and hence you need fish in baskets fot it to tame it) I thought, why isn't it so, that baskets fill automatically with fish once they are set up? Because whenever you put down a basket... well... fish is going away and doesn't come back very soon. How is this supposed to work out? And since initializing the basket takes too much time, you simply cannot place and trap immediately. So this mod is a must have if you wanna catch fish. =)

Thanks a lot for making and sharing this really helpful and much needed tool - a basket that works the way it would work in real life, and how it should have been set up by the devs from the beginning. :D

Dovah :: it doesn't change anything about what the fish basket can catch. So if the normal basket can catch, so will this. All this mod does is auto-activate the catch process when the option is available. nothing more.

they aren't reusable, they work same as the normal baskets, but automated so you can place a bunch, leave and come back to them, or place them as fish come near you, and it will detect and trap them.

Also does it work for creatures that were made tamable via fishbasket by way of another mod?

M1nty :: figured it's more fitting to show you how to find it instead of just giving you it .. after all, give a man a fish, and he will eat 1 time. however, give a man a automated fishing basket, and well.. he will eat forever .. and yes, pun intended ;)
