I have had to cars in my life. The volkswagen jetta 86 and 91/92 edition.

Granted the simplicity of the cars, but so cool retro looking. Unfortunately it never really became popular in my country. Which is strange since it, although it's few flaws, was a really good and reliable car to drive.

I miss those kind of cars. Modern cars all look the same and has no soul. And there is to much crap in them that you pay for, but don't really need.

I don't mean to be critical. I'm just asking because I saw a few say they're not updated, but others don't say that. And I'm just asking what it means, what kind of function it will have when it's not updated. Just wondering what to expect if I use the mod.

You can see it was not updated yet, thats why there's no armor or it's not animated. Give author some break, he made so many vehicles you can fill your whole game with them only.

Why are some of these not updated? Does that just affect the visual opening of car parts?

Can place armor on these vehicle that do not require the library ?

Any idea of why this car is so loud? I just found one with an engine loudness of 56, and a ford f350 dually next to it has an engine loudness of 37 (Both by KI5)

@Clatgineer Project zomboid HP, weight, and acceleration/speed are not balanced with RL. These values just make the car workable in game.

Hi, sorry to bother you especially on a mod you don't consider as good as your more current ones (I think it's great regardless) but I've noticed that the car I found has 420 HP, when comparatively the real life variant has about 90. Is this a bug or a setting or something that went wrong on my end or was this intentional, and if so is there anything I could do about it? Cheers

Hi! This QOL cars are great vanilla replacers, can you make more of this simpler versions of your awesome creations? lol, without bloating the game with parts with each vehicle and still improving visuals and gameplay? Thanks for all the great mods you made!

I've been learning 3d modelling but now want to give vehicle modding/creation a go and would appreciate any help. @Sorren the problem is in the ludicrously small pickups, jetta and all my vehicles are in 1:1 scale to player character and to each other and have 1:1 proportions with their rl counterparts

Is there any way you could scale down the size of the vehicle? The volkswagon Jetta is larger than your average American pickup truck. This car's model is ludicrously massive. It's a bit immersion breaking

I don't approve of any modpacks and duplication of my stuff, it's a nightmare to debug and troubleshoot. You can pack and use it locally without reupload to steam, i'm ok with that.

Can I make a repack of your cars for my dedicated server?

Hah! Worked out of a Volkswagon Jetta for years. Diesel of course. Darn thing could drive across two full states before needing gas.

The model is very nice, but it's way too large! It ought to be shrunk down a tad, maybe to around the size of the masterson horizon.

VW pickup Caddy Mk1 (maybe a idea?) there some version out there with like rig or box on the back. if i just google a little bit.

My freind had 1 back in day as project but he got sick of it and sold it. He swapped way more heavyer engine into with more power.

Dont know if you could steal some of youre model information from ather 2 VWs you made or alternate them. =)

I subbed to al the cars you made gone see if my game world becomes more fun (i love cars from 50s till towards 2010s+-) newer cars dont realy seem to nudge me same for electricial car.
But if you want a giggle please add a tesla into the game +add genartor in the back trunk. =)
