I found the button an all it did first was make the tier level versions of the light sabers available but not the actual skins that change the look. But, i looked more into Iridar Xskin options in the Mod config menu and seen the option to turn on Skin sets witch by default the option is disabled an hidden so no one can see the option in the first place.
so once you change that option to enable from being hidden you can then see it at the bottom right hand corner, you just turn skin sets to OFF an then the skins for the lightsabers will show up ;) glad that i figured this out on my own lol
the skins make the sabers look so much better ! great mod
@Tyler Chambers: No variants planned at the moment.
Thank you very much sir. That worked!
Just weird because this mod worked fine before (before I reinstalled all the mods) without having to edit the config files.

So first, open up the XComPrimarySecondaries config file for the Lightsabers mod and copy the entries that start with +IndividualWeaponConfig
Next, open up the file in True Primary secondaries labeled XComTruePrimarySecondaries.
Scroll down to where you start seeing lines that also start with +IndividualWeaponConfig and paste the individual weapon config entries from the saber mod on the line after those entries that were originally there.

@Emeyin: There is a config file for this mod called XComPrimarySecondaries that has some lines starting with "+IndividualWeaponConfig =" under a line that reads [PrimarySecondaries.X2DownloadableContentInfo_PrimarySecondaries]
True Primary Secondaries ought to have a similar config file that you should be able to copy those IndividualWeaponConfig lines into.

Regarding some of the older comments I'm not sure what could cause that bug with the saber coloration. Mod conflict is just about always an option but I don't know what could possibly cause such a conflict.
