No, he was always an enemy. He came from the Incandescent Whisperer mod which shares creators with Black Reliquary.

Hi ! I've been experiencing a wierd bug recently, the mod was working just fine until it dissapeared from my games, the mod is active but the cleric isn't spawning, the trinkets aren't either. Even the Color of Madness one isn't in the shop. I've de/reinstalled the mod and tried it alone on a save, ,o result. I wold love it if someone ever had than kind of a problem and could help

One of the best classes ever. When paired with the Inquisitor class this guy dominates the battlefield and melts bosses.

Ive had this mod for so long, but Ive not seen hide nor hair of this dude. Ive got some of his gear, but that's it. Just gotta keep on keeping on and hope no more of my heroes die.

I found a bug. When you click the skill Sanctification, and then hover over a character (do not click!), then select the skill Knight's Vow, it will trigger the all party heal effect.

Personally I love the height, I feel like characters based around a tanky aesthetic should look bulkier to show this. Similar to the Thrall. Though maybe lowering the height a tiny bit would help with a lot of the visual issues

Excellent character and detail. I agree that the model is a bit too large for the game in comparison with other characters however. Maybe it would be possible to reduce it in some way. Good job though.

he's kay but way too one dimensional.

You should give his guard + self heal ability 1 or 2 rounds of cooldown because he has very high base HP so the max HP healing heals him a lot. He's already a very good hero even without the guard, guard makes him broken.

If you want to reuse art assets, you will have to ask for permission from Spurple specifically.

okay cool. i dont know the difficulty level with making a custom hero, but your cleric here is almost the exact skeleton for the class im requesting be made, just replace the shield and hammer with a giant sword and retexture the armor basically, would you be okay with your mod being used as a baseline to begin from should i find somebody to take the commission? with proper credit given of course, and i would be happy to throw a good portion of the commission money your way if you have a patreon or anything like that. if youre not okay with that i understand

@badger im looking to commission a mod, do you do commissions? im asking here because this character you have made is the only hero thats this tall (that im aware of) and seeing him made me realize the character i want made is possible to make. i also asked about a commission on the DD discord.
on a side note this is an awesome mod i really enjoy how he plays and his appearance, 10/10 would not change a single thing.
on another side note i might make some basic color pallets, (im pretty busy for the foreseeable future) would that be okay if i made those?

I don't know if this is intended but his trinkets seem to have a lower price than the base game trinkets.
For instance with a fully upgraded Nomad Wagon his uncommon Stout Targe costs 1 750 while the base game common trinkets cost 2 500 and base game uncommon trinkets cost 3 750
Also I've noticed his rare trinkets sell for less than base game rare trinkets so something is off with the price of some of them or how the price reacts with the Nomad Wagon upgrades

Hi, the tooltip for Sanctification says it heals the party by '2' at level 1, but it only seems to be healing everyone for 1 hp.

Thanks for the balance patch :) I really like the character, but have often had to stop using him because he made missions too easy. Now without the regeneration from Knight's Vow, he is hopefully in a better place

Cleric Errant balance patch:
-reduce hammer of faith's bonus dmg to stunned from +50% to +30%
-reduce glare's acc debuff to -5/6/7/8/10
-added a -6/7/8/9/10 dodge debuff to orison
orison's dmg mod increased from -30% to -25%
vow's initial heal increased to 15/17/20/22/25% HP and vow no longer provides regen
protective necklace now provides -30% bleed/blight amount received while guarding instead of prot
hand of benediction's heal on kill reduced from 20% to 10% hp

Tweaked walk animation

I got this characters name firsthand as "Martel". I believe this should be his base name because it sounds very fitting to a cleric character.

Sanctification doesn't seem to be workin for me. It gives the speed buff and shows the torch icon on the friendly target but after various runs it doesn't heal anyone no matter the skill I use with that character.

How does that happen? lvl1 Sanctification heals for 1. There's no way in hell that heals for half health.

lvl 0 cleric healing a full veteran party half health in a single turn thanks to casting sanctification before hand, i think that skill is a bit too much for the flow of combat
