Strange, but after activating the mod I have freezes on some Campaign mission (tested on Cold Supper and Operation Bustard Hunt). After loading game freezes for a half a second after every 5 seconds. Also tested with only this active mod. After deactivating mod game stabilizes

Player soldiers always die after wounded. There are no options to give them medics. I don't have ideas how to fix it.

k98_grenades has 2 types of ammo, but the ammo replenishment mechanics used allow you to replenish only one type of ammo, so I left the HEAT ammo and disabled the HE ammo

Btw, nice mod, bro. Exactly what i wished. I have no clue how change HP values for allyes and players units when enemyes still the same. In your way all sides have veterancy bonuses, actually.

Just a quick question that may not be relevant but this mod seems close to what I'm looking for - Do you know of a mod, or a way, to increase the stage caps for each stage of Conquest reinforcements? I'm wanting to increase my stage limits so I can field more troops so I can see a bigger variety.

Yeah, I know that when I press C, I am getting silhouettes of the objects, but not of the enemy units hidden behind vegetation.

This game wants to be realistic, but really what it is, is unfair. LoS is super punishing and the fun of direct control is totally lost on it in many cases. Enemy AI almost always sees you and shoots at you even when obstructed by vegetation.

Ok, so I get it there are no actual in game mod options?

silhouettes are included in one of the patches in the vanilla game, grass is disabled in the graphics settings, without the mod this option does not work in first/third person view

And how does it work? I subscribed to it, launched a new campaign, but nowhere I see an option for switching off grass or getting silhouettes through. Any documentation would be nice.

After putting some hours in after the new update, anyone else seeing an issue with the soldier deaths? I'm seeing actual deaths instead of severe injury now. Veteran status and inventory seems to still work. Many thanks and love the mod! Spend lots of hours customizing soldier kits now.

I had another issue, though. A weird one. With your mod enabled, the defense battles became unwinnable due to the sheer number of enemies that appeared on the map. I had 3 squads of infantry facing against, at least, 20, or more, because they just kept spawning. They slaughtered my troops just by force of numbers alone. I disabled it and the defensive battles returned to normal. I have a sound mod, a music mod, and one that adds panzerfausts to the german infantry, nothing more.

No message, but I managed to get it working. Disabled all the other 3 mods and activated this one. Then, after applying, activated the rest

As far as I understand, this problem is due to not fully compatible with the "Improved Squads", you can try to activate it after the "Easy mode" in this case, losing the autoregeneration of engineering resources.

The infantryman has a flag "personage" which by default is 1. When he dies, if this flag = 1 the heavy injury mechanism is turned on, if this flag = 0 the infantryman dies immediately, there is an event handler in the resource/resource.pak/set/interaction_entity/human.inc

No problem to make it a separate mod, what kind of hp growth rate with the level do you want?

As for the rest, I disagree, randomly undermine the RPG component very much, it makes no sense for you to pick up weapons or watch the level increase, because in a few seconds you will be destroyed by a 20mm HE or a flamethrower that emerged from the air, after a few such cases you will begin to treat the infantry as a consumable that is not worth your attention.

Unfortunately, as far as I understand, ammo mechanic cannot be used, since only those ammo that were originally set in the fighter's inventory are replenished.

Is There a chance you could make a mod that ONLY increases Value of Veterancy? like especially survivability, but maybe not neccerly Randomness, I'm fine with occationally a Veteran dying, just less common, to like start seeing more value in them! having simply more HP per veterancy goes a long way just that.

Would love the resupplyability for captured weapons to work from supply boxes / Ressuply in menu but still like there to be an Ammo mechanic.
