You should just have to activate the mod. Load your two avatars, then disable it and that should do it.

I don't mod or play shogun 2 anymore.

Try this. Activate the mod, then look at your avatars armor and retainers. See if they unlock with the mod on.

To activate the mod is just to click subscribe right ? I do that then load my two avatars, then i unsubscribe, go in again, but nothing has changed, did i do something wrong ? I own both of the dlc

Activate the mod.
Start the game.
Load up your shogun 2 avatar.
Load up your fall of the shogun avatar.
Then quit and deactivate the mod.

That should unlock everything, if you missing the ikko ikko DLC or fall of the samurai DLC it may not work.

Yes, i do it already,turn off mod and unistall,after this i have no response from host,im try reinstall shogun,reinstall steam,clear steam cloud saves,deleted my avatar,nothing helped,only family sharing games to second account helped me back to online games.I did something wrong with this mod.

After you unlock the items you can Uninstall the mod and you will still have the items unlocked. Just remember to leave me a little like. ;)

Your ment to turn on the mod, load in to avatar conquest to unlock the items. Then close the game and turn off the mod.

The items will still be unlocked.

I have "no response from host" after installed this mod.

Another screengrab that might help is the list of DLC you have (under manage DLC) this could also be the issue.I assume that she appears in the veteran slow when you create a new vanilla avatar also?

Hope you are doing well.
For me she does not appear on the Veteran Unit List... she only appears in the Regular Unit List (and is locked) - I even tried using a separate Steam account..

All of that being said maybe if I reinstall the game / try to disable and re-enable the DLC... it will restore the veteran unit to its proper place.

Please provide a screenshot for my sanity please of hwo things look on your end :)

I just remembered something! I don't play shogun 2 anymore so I would have to reinstall it to check but, I believe the onno bushi heroine is a hero unit. When you buy certain DLCs they give you the heros from that dlc as a veteran unit.

If I remember correctly the heroine is added as a veteran unit when you buy ROTS.

Hiya, I highly appreciate that, the problem is that Onni Bushi Heroine does not seem to appear on any tile (I checked multiple times and reached out to the TW Discord back in April to no avail lol) - I am going to assume that their unlock is associated with general rank or a tile that it does not display. It's frustrating to me because I play online with Rise of the Samurai armies and having this unit really feels like I am missing out.

If you have any advice let me know. But once again, thanks for coming back to me.

Units are locked to the conquest map. Even if i made a mod that unlocked them (Which i don't know how to), you would have to play with the mod on to use them. Which would lock you out of playing with anyone that is not using that same mod.

Its why even if you have the retainer to field ninjas, or imperial cav, you can't use them until you unlock them on the map.

I am going to post here since I am desperate.

I like to field RoTS armies but am unable to unlock Onni Bushi Heroine.
Is there any way you could make a mod to unlock her since I think it is bugged since she appears nowhere on the conquest map?? :(

Yes. I don't normally play fots avatar, I mainly play the base one so I had to doublecheck, but it does add all retainers to fots. Including Yumi officer.

Does this mod also unlock retainers [in FotS] namely-unlockable but de-facto-unobtainable?

There 6 such retainers e.g. : Yumi officer - portrayed as "able to unlock", BUT there is no province on the map with such retainer - so in practice - unattainable.

Does this mod provide them?

If the mod is not working it maybe another mod is conflicting with mine. A way to fix this is. Turn off all your mods then run the game. Then run just my mod alone, and start the game. Then check if the Armors and retainers are unlocked. Then if it worked you can disable my mod and re-enable your preferred mods. You are not ment to have this mod on all the time. You just turn it on to get retainers and Armors then you disable it.

If that does not work then I'm out of ideas.

No, i didnt used them together i will just have your mod ticked but it didnt work for me, ig because you previously said that both mods share the same file, anyway i have all S2 retainer and FotS avator doesnt have good retainers so i would be good anyway, thanks.

I'm sorry but I don't get what you mean. If you make a new avatar and use insta retainers you get all the retainers for base shogun. If you use my mod you get all retainers for base shogun, all retainers for fall of the samurai, and all Armors for both. The only reason you should use insta retainers is if you don't have fall of the samurai. My mod does the same as insta retainers, just... more.

If you can clarify why your trying to use both mods together then maybe I can help? But there is really no point in trying to use both together dew to them nothing doing the same thing.

ah,then it is probably that one basegame issue where if you switch avatars the armor sticks around,even between S2 and FotS.(i've once seen an image of someone using this bug to make a FotS general look like as if it is using the Shogun armor set lol.)

If I unsubscribe to insta retainers and maybe create a new avator, might work?

In short there is no way to make this mod work with instant retainers. In long, the code that unlocks fall of the samurai retainers is located in the same file as the retainers for the base game. And when running a mod, if 2 mods change the same file it will only use one of them.

I don't know why it does not show up. It works with other achievement Armors, so I have no idea why it would not work with only those specific armor,.

This mod does the same thing as the instant retainers mod, the only thing this one does different is it unlocks armor, and fall of the samurai retainers. Instant retainers only unlocks retainers for base game.

i have uesugi's helmet,tokugawa's face mask,and the loyal to the clan crest if that helps anything

uh,so some of the armor dosn't appear during battle,at least for me Uesugi's helmet does not,the general has a generic helmet with no crest(even though i have one),is this due to the armor "not actually" being unlocked,due to the mod or is this a basegame problem i wonder?

ya I'm not worried. LOL.
I've been using this mod and nothing has happened. I did find a way to dup tokens but "THAT" is where they draw the line, got my test avatar deleted.

Oh, also if you used the old version I updated the mod to unlock everything, just follow the instructions to get everything.

Don't worry CA won't do anything to this mod just like how they didnt do anything to the bugs in the last "update"
