Yeah I think it's a mod. I uninstalled all of them and it seems to work again. I just don't know which one is causing the issue.

interesting, ive never seen anyone have issues with that, my best guess is some mod you have is causing the hold up, not sure which that could be tho

wonderful mod!! though i'm a bit stuck on the death wish candle, I just cant find the third snatcher coin! (the one that seems to be above the elevator to the boss but not on the roof) if anyone knows where it is (and what act to access it) lemme know!!! I'd be eternally grateful

sorry that happened! but that seems like something another mod you have installed is causing! nothing like that ever happened to me or my playtesters

I'm not sure how it triggers, but the last gate in the purple rift tends to just... disappear. It was extremely frustrating, especially since I had to reset once already because I missed a storybook page. After the third reset, I just resorted to watching the YouTube video that someone thankfully posted in the comments.

that's totally fair, with only 4 weeks to make this mod coming up with a satisfying ending and then making that ending would have been a bit of a challenge.
don't hold me to this but i've been working on an update that adds a bunch of stuff so i might go back and add an ending cutscene after the final timepiece that should wrap up the story nicer, but we'll just have to wait and see. glad you enjoyed it other then the end tho!!

Very well put together, and I enjoyed it right up until the end; gotta echo trabunt's opinion on this, that ending was kind of cruel.

@HeliosMagi i already beat the mod and it is a lot easier, the timer is slower and its easier to get used to the layout and not get lost

feels like a real chapter! lots of fun! BUT, I wish Bow Kid was in more than 1 chapter. It feels weird to not see her at any other point!

Had fun at first, but honestly hated where you took the story. Bow Kid doesn't deserve this.

Really good stuff, solid boss, varied missions, and great platforming. Always nice to see a new multi time piece level in general, but this one was particularly enjoyable

Rather nice mod, but I would've loved a bonus level or cut scene of just Bow Kid's reaction to the whole ordeal after the fight. I'd imagine they won't be friends anymore after that.

Also, why does Bow Kid have her own bathroom? Considering that Hat Kid doesn't have one, her biological digestive tract and urinary system wouldn't work the same way as a real human would. (Does that mean that Bow Kid is actually human?!) That wouldn't surprise me if that's the case. If it was, we would've seen a bathroom in Hat Kid's ship as well, after all, we're all human and need a place to relieve ourselves. (Maybe not... due to being a humanoid. That's a question that only the developers can answer.) And Bow Kid will have a very hard time breathing in outer space too. Maybe she uses it for decoration / dressing room? Also no privacy in the shower, what happens when someone walks in on Bow Kid? I'm getting ahead of myself, maybe I should stop paying attention to the logic.

Really nice, good job on the design of the ship in particular. I found the solar panels a little finicky to hit, to the point I used a cheat badge for the last couple. Otherwise no big complaints.

Not sure why the act books are off center but honestly that doesn't bother me too much lol
I figured it would be fine if you could stand on the solar panels cuz the meteor attack would make you have to move out of the way and most likely off the solar panel anyway
But I'm really happy you had fun!!

one bug i found was the act book placements (and finale) are off-center. Which was weird, because the first book was centered.

I also don't know if it was intended for finale to be somewhat cheesed by standing on the solar panels, as it essentially nullifies all ground attacks

in any case, this was really fun :D
