I have noticed that many of the star wars maps won't work when you want to start your server on them, but after you start up your server you can change to those maps and play them just fine.

For my server I start it up on Bespin Duel and that map seems to work just fine for starting up on, then you can change to this map after the server loads up. I'm not sure why this is the case but it is what I have encountered with my server.

Good job, but as laser swords to add this card? I have a way to start the server by adding the code of this page, but by going to your server not found laser swords help than you can.

Check the description mate, and follow the steps, it should work after the file moving. Hope I help with this mate, also the fix is not mine. Try that mate and tell me if work, if no, Ill help you with this.

As nice as the map looks, it's way too large. Having to run across the map to fight someone isn't fun. It would be nice if the map was reduced in scale to atleast half the size.

I know you can't port an entire map easily from another engine, I'm working on Helms Deep for chivalry.

Its doable but it takes a lot of time if you want it to look good in todays standards.

@Donkey. Not sure if you asked me to do that mate or you will do that, but if was a request to me is a rotund no, and also... an insult :O

I know guys that you dont care if you insulted me or not, but at least... let me give a tip for you mates:

I cant just take an entire map and port to Chivalry because:
1.- It is almost impossible, as far as I know the port goes in 1 mesh, you lose detail, probably textures and also personal honesty in your work.
2.- If you dont email the map creator to ask permission first, or at least give him credit for his/her designs is an insult in his face that someone port a map already developed by someone who probably toke 1 month, 1 week or all the night working on it for you guys and claim as yours, even if you only say... it was from MB2. You need to cite the developer or IF NO! well... you are plagiarizing. Probably some guys dont think well in what are they doing... but in the future, this can bring you problems. :P

If you are telling me that you will do it. I wish you the best luck mate, but REMEMBER! first to email the map developer and tell your plans. 90% of the time, they decline a port for obvious reasons.

My tip: Dont be lazy and map for yourself guys, learn skills and perform a good job, this teach you a new cool hooby and probably someday this hooby give to you the possiblity to obtain a job. But all depends on the person.

Should port maps from MB2, they are generally more developed.

@Dark, no mate, the maps I made for Chivalry are complete from zero. I just used the textures from =TOM=, the mapper who made the Jedi Temple for Jedi Academy vanilla before MB2.
