if you can find the map go to ur files then games then civilization v and then mods then copy the map and go back and paste it to Maps

What language are the names in because im from Denmark and the right names are: Jylland, Fyn, Sjælland and if we count the other countries with too, they should be called Sverige and Tyskland :)

@Zale_Barrows 'Old' Zealand is actually in the Netherlands. Zeeland is a Dutch province.

@Zale_Barrows, This actually isn't 'old' Zealand if New Zealand is what you're thinking off. That name comes from Zeeland, some dutch place, and I think New Zealand was originally called Nova Zeelandia, or maybe still is *shrug* before people started calling it New Zealand

@Mr Cool you can also make "Coast" I think it's called. It behaves like a desert but it is not a desert for the purpose of for example Petra. Atleast I am sure there was a beach tile, it's just not called beach.

Eitherway, normal land tiles sometimes get mini beaches on the edge automatically.

@Redigal23 we can only make desert, and i cant find any place in that part of Sweden with that much sand/beach.


@Hotsauce Flavored Jam I have looked at zealand and I made some small corrections that might be included in the next version, but could you please try explaining what you think is wrong?


@MEENIE900 Saxony is in East Germany and is 500 km out of the map, so we can not get it on the map.


@ND-_- After subscribing you should be able to find the map. when you want to start a game, click choose map, then scroll to the bottom and there should be a box called additional maps. you should see a map called Kingdom of Denmark in there.


@Liam-R-Beast we will consider it.

hi and thanks for making this, i got a problem, there is no map? i can select and enable the mod but it hasn't autoselected the map like other mapmods, can't find it either? i have no other map mods running btw. would appreciate a reply asap

Oh, just reading earlier comments, I don't think the use of snow tiles to represent snow fall is very accurate, seasonal snow is very different to perma-frost, not to mention the fact that's not how snow falls. Either most of Central-Southern Sweden is blanketed in snow, or none of it is, while it snows more in the hills, if you look at an aerial map of Scandinavia in the winter, there wouldn't be random ridges of white, it would be entirely covered in snow.

Um, there is no snow or tundra in Halland or Småland, you don't get "tundra" until the far north of Sweden, Lappland, Norrbottens and Västerbottens, and even then there is no arctic style permanent ice ("snow"). It needs correctly to a mixture of forest and grassland. Also, I don't think desert is a very good representaton of Denmark's sandy beaches.

Other than that it's a really good map, well done for the accuracy with the islands.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to play this map. It does not show up in map select, though the mod is enabled. Is there something I'm missing?

Start as Germany. Have a Norway mod. Germans invades Denmark and Norway. Sweden is just like haha!

Might be interesting to recreate the German invasion in WWII. Kinda reminds me of the book Number the Stars :)
