The metroid Prime 2 beams use ammo so they won't be affected like the non ammo consuming weapons

i am using a inf ammo mod and the dark light and annihilator beam still work :)

the havent changed and their dependencies havent been broken in 3 years.
Check to see if you uninstalled something.

hey not sure if this is a bug or not but the weapons respond to fov kinda backwards, for instance 100 fov is 30, and if i put the fov at 1, it acts like 180fov

To be fair, your addon has the Light, Dark, Twilight (Annihilator), Hyper, and Nova Beams as well.

If you're subscribed to it when its taken down it will be removed, you can find the addon in steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 4000 > 1719530942
From there just save the GMA and move it to your addons folder and it should persist

I know about it, idk what other platforms outside of gmod store or some shit.
I still have everything backed up in my drives because this content doesn't belong to nintendo, it's property of Retro. They just hold the copyright.

I actually asked the guy that made it about whether new beams can be added, and apparently, it's not modular to that level, at least if I remember correctly. Impulse might have to learn the swep's code and make a new swep for the other two games. Again, might be remembering that wrong.

I planned to.
problem is the prime sweps API don't support stuff like custom models and such so id have to rewrite parts of the API and hud to make it work

I just had an idea. What if you could turn this into a sort of addon for the Metroid Prime Swep? No offense, truly, but the Prime 1 beams are kinda obsolete due to that addon. However, it doesn't have the Prime 2 or 3 beams, and I feel like you could be the one to implement them. You did do a really good job with them here, after all.

Neither, he means the Phazon Suit. It's in Prime 1, actually, and is... literally just a different color palette for the Varia Suit.

I have those downloaded, but are you talking about the PED suit or dark samus? I havent played metroid prime 2 and 3 yet as im still playing through zero mission

It's a bug ive told vuth about but he hasnt looked into it yet.
Right now there's not a way to unless you use the Phazon suit which might be broken. im not sure, last it was acting weird.

Any plans to add a suit to be immune to blue phazon? Like The phazon suit from prime 1? I know there was no suit, at least to my knowledge, to be immune to red phazon.

It was working on my end when I looked last night so if I had to guess you may have a mod that disables ammo like CombineSniper and Gauss

@The Wickerbeast Furry Again, it's not supposed to have ammo. Only the Prime 2 beams do, and that doesn't include the Power Beam.

Kill enemies with drc_metroid_allow_drops 1 on while using the opposite beam or the powerbeam to get the ammo to drop.
Otherwise its in the entity menu
