Though I really felt like letting loose, the author made a good choice in giving us only one weapon to take out the ground troops. Adding a few other targets would have really brought up the scenario. I was wanting more!!
I hope you'll consider making this one on the kunduz map with RHS equipment!
People, remember to read the guide etc and ajust music volume to your liking.
The actual mission is simple: go to X, kill bad guys, return to base. But the context in which the mission is presented (i.e. friendly troops are pinned down and need your help asap) adds to the sense of urgency and realism of the mission.
The fact that this was based on a real life situation just sends chills down my spine. Congratulations sir!
TL:DR Play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission now, you won't regret it.
How do I lower the volume of the radio chatter? Nothing happens when I turn down the volume in the audio menu and if I turn down Windows master volume all the other in game sounds become way too quiet for the radio chatter to be bearable.
you need skills to gather information from the radio messages you receive from the infantry on ground to localize your target.
I stumbled into your work when trying to look up some form of AI JTAC cooperation for human pilots. There are numerous addons with simple AI piloted CAS integration, but you seem to be the only one who has done the opposite within your missions. I was wondering if there is any easy way to implement your AI JTAC functionality into other missions. I mostly play alone, using ALIVE to create a battlefield. The problem is that flying CAS is hardly an option unless I want to fly aimlessly looking for targets.
If you are willing to, I'd appreciate an accepted friend request to discuss some of your features. I'm DGeorge85 on the BIS forums if that is better for you. If your AI JTAC functionality was built into a module for the editor or something similar it would bring a lot to the table, especially for those like myself looking to have a simple way to set up dynamic CAS scenarios.
Most unfortunate, been having a blast with all of your stuff.
Calibrate the drone to your aircraft while in the hanger. I've created a shortcut to enter the view to make it less intrusive during flight. Spacebar x2 to enter and exit the view.
Keep up the good work.
