That feature you are asking about is actually part of a different mod called Resize It! They both work fine together.

I'm still only showing one row for the icons of the roads. Mine does not show that little icon in the author pics with the arrows to select number of rows. I can't find anything in the settings. Unsub and Resub?? Any ideas guys?

It utterly kills me that this exists by default on the console version of this game, but not this PC version.

I suggest using icons instead of text to fix the issue of oversized tab bar. Also, the text makes the ui extremly ugly, no idea why the author choose to do it this way.

Snowfall has a tram only road. But that does not seem to show in the tram tab.
I can only find in the tram tab in the transport menu.

I'm glad CydonianKnight21 commented, because I had the same problem. I hadn't played Cities Skylines for over a year and I had gotten a new monitor, sorted through loads of incompatible mods using Skyve and had forgotten all about "Yet Another Toolbar" settings.

Easily fixed in ALT+Q quick settings.

Or rather than installing mods that otherwise wouldn't be needed and rearranging the whole ui, we could just stick to the original request and ask the mod author to please add the option to this mod to wrap the tabs in the road panel into two rows.

Especially since just having all the DLC, no other custom roads with this mod (with the sort dlc into mod categories option disabled) causes the same problem so it affects lots of users. Its a good option to ask for, I don't know why you're so adamant on overcomplicated, janky workarounds.

@CydonianKnight21 Simply slide the panel to the left using YATB and Resize It to the road tools (straight, curve, etc.). Then it should fit with the tabs. I don't remember which mod it was right now, but you could also move the "buttons" in the bottom bar ( Zoning, Roads, Landscaping, Water, UUI, Bulldozer, etc.).

@Earl of Al I am not trying to change the rows of items within the network panel. I am trying to change the rows of tabs at the top of network panel. With this mod installed, any custom road tabs that are added by other mods are pushed off to the right as this mod adds more tabs than the base game. With a lot of custom roads that add tabs, this leads to the tabs going right off the screen. As I said there is a compromise built into this mod that removes the custom tabs of other mods, but I would rather be able to keep the custom tabs that this mod adds as well as the other custom tabs. Two rows OF TABS for the road panel is the ultimate solution.

The mods you mention change the size of the panel, they don't affect the tabs at the top of the box which is what this mod affects. I thought that was clear but hopefully this clears up your confusion. I already use YATB.

Oh should mention if you use Find It! 2 mod, you might prefer Yet Another Toolbar mod instead of Resize It. I'm using Find It 2 Beta version and it works fine with Resize It but I saw someone write that they had issues with Find It 2 Stable and Resize It.

'Resize it' and 'Yet another Toolbar' work perfectly with Better Road Toolbar.
outdated..no longer compatible... however, some of the mods that are outdated or supposed to be incompatible still work fine. I haven't had any problems with these mods so far. The original 'Unified UI' works better than the new one, although the original is said to be outdated....

@Earl of AI - Just looked up that mod and it looks like it's not been updated since last December and judging by the comments, may not be any more compatible with the latest update then this mod is.

Love this mod, thanks! But after the last patch Skyve is telling me it causes issues with the game: "New vanilla panel icons disappear." (Whatever that means lol) Should I not use this anymore?

Are you limited, or is it possible to design it to have two rows of tabs? A lot of us with custom road assets are struggling with this mod. I love it as do others but the way it pushes the custom tabs off the edge of the screen is unbearable. The option to remove custom tabs is a good compromise and may work for some but ultimately i want those custom assets groups in custom tabs if I can have that, AND i want your mods tabs.

Two rows of tabs is the ultimate solution.

Great mod, been needed for a LONG time, lol - I still misclick because I can't tell some of the icons apart enough.

But this isn't for me - or at least as it is now if you keep developing it. I found the new filter options added to vanilla really useful so unless it's a bug, having them missing was... :( Also, any plans to add more customization? Is it possible?

Because for me, some of these tabs have just a few roads while others have a ton. The latter could use the filters, while the former I wish I could just opt-out of (usually the #units w more lanes). Finally, I think I would personally prefer the opposite filtering: tabs by lanes, sorted by unit width

I've found that this mod causes my saved games crash with the whole map going blue :(

It might be okay. When the game first loaded it was very laggy but that might be something else. With so many roads I think the roads toolbar just got bogged down and stopped responding.

It seems like it might have a problem. If I click on a couple things the game stops responding.

Does this work with the latest update/ is it needed anymore?

Hey, so I installed this and I cant get the menu's for the roads to show up like in the pictures, is this mod still valid?

It's a generic warning and nowhere does it says the mod is "incompatible". Ignore it.

For some reason the game detects this mod as incompatible, for an older version of the game, even though it was just updated a few months ago.

This is a nice idea for a mod. It would be really awesome if you could customise existing tabs and create your own tabs. Add / Delete / Rename ect. I have some special roads I use in the suburban areas for example. It would be nice to separate categories as desired. Just a suggestion. Good work!

Lately I've started to loose the tabs for ordinary roads (small, medium, large). The only new mood I've subscribed to is a mod that overrides speeds (can set max speed on most networks to 2000 km/h yeah! hehe).

My game freezes (not responding) as soon as I on the toolbar (1u/2u, etc). I tried disable NExt2, YAT, and BRT one by one. Basically, this is the mod that cause the issue.
