Oh. Yeah, gremlins are coded quite a bit differently than weapons. If the tank thing is a custom unit and the author of that mod put a config line that lets you specify a different Archetype for the cosmetic unit then I guess that would be doable.

For any other solution I could think of you would need to use mod tools.

and as such the abilities seem to be tied directly to the item (even the abilityto slot reassignment mod doesn't help)

it's because the tank uses it's own custom item the tanklin isn't a gremlin (as far as i can tell) similar to the spark bit

I'm not familiar enough with the tank class to even guess why those abilities might not work with this gremlin.

i want to make these to work with the tank class but they don't allow for the tanklin abilities to work is there anyway i can get those abilites to work with these droids (or reskin the tanklin into the droid)

This is the greatest Gremlin replacer for any Republic or Empire-themed game I've seen so far. Amazing!

Sorry, I probably won't be doing any modern day mods.

The Rebel/Imperial gremlins are different weapons so yes, you can choose between them.

@｢CantSTANDUya｣ There is a LAAT Skyranger replacer mod. And, contrary to many reports, it doesn't cause crashes. I have it working with 444 other mods, no problem.

Looks like seperate buildable item, as the mod adds instead of replaces.
