I’m not overtly versed in Stellaris’s code, I will admit. But I have a plan to make up for that. I just need approval from the original dev to do so.

First release by me will be the CTD fix.

@Sunconure11 If you manage to adopt it, can you check if you also get the weird bug where the Great Archailect research option costing a mere 20+ research points appears long before any prerequisites are fulfilled? I see nothing wrong in the code that would do this.

I am going to try to take this up in the next few days, but it will remain in maintenance mode unless I either have a good idea or I can no longer maintain it.

Wow, I'm sad to see this mod retire. If you're still reading this, I really enjoyed your mod. Absolutely fantastic concept and I only wish I had the energy to keep it up to date. For anybody wondering, this mod does seem to still work.

@Healing Weapon Guy, the fastest way to get to the mod folder where the files are, for me, was through the PDX launcher.
1. Launch the game through Steam as normal.
2. Navigate to your playsets, then to where the mod is positioned.
3. Click the menu button on the far right of the mod, just below the enable/disable button, and click "show in folder".
4. In the folder, open the "common" folder, followed by the "technology", and open the file within, titled "13_nano_tech.txt"
5. Follow Jacketgun's instructions, with the additional instruction of making sure that the "Category" tag is placed under cost.

It should look something like this for each tech as an example:
area = engineering
tier = 5
cost = @tier5cost3
category = { materials }
Note that most tech needs this fix due to inconsistent code order. Apply this to load the mod and fix CTD issues until an update is released. Hope this helps.

Making sure that the "cost" flag is AFTER the "tier" tag in the technologies

"tech_nano_torpedoes"
"tech_nano_swarmer_missile"
"tech_great_archailect"
"tech_toposophont_fogs"

fixes the CTD for me.

so for example,

area = engineering
cost = @nanotier6cost3
tier = 5

should instead be:

area = engineering
tier = 5
cost = @nanotier6cost3


for some reason this fixes the issue....

Also yeah, pretty sure whats causing the crash is the Toposophont Angelnet.

ok changing the weight and cost solved the crash issue, but the crash cacha did say that all nanotier6cost3 techs had issues, so they might still not work

ok...i tryed the same thing i did to find out that causes the crash, take it apart and reimplement it little by little, but i, by god, do not know, what couses the crash, only that if you remove this tech, it no longer crashes, if anyone culd tell me what tech this is from the tech tree, id be very thankfull.

Ok, by itself mod is fine but have conflict over same code defines with Dark Space Colossus component - both define their components as "PLANET_KILLER_NANO"
